4 of us booked a cooking class with Long. The booking starts with a market and river tour. He purchased fresh ingredients at the local market and then took us to his fishing village just a few minutes outside Hoi An. We then went on a basket boat river tour which was a lot of fun. We then went back to his family restaurant where we began our cooking class of local dishes using the fresh ingredients from the market. Long and his sister talked about the local dishes and ingredients as they showed us how to make spring rolls, rice pancakes, seafood stir fry and banana flower salad. All the dishes were amazing and the food was plentiful. The whole experience is well worth your time and money and it was very enjoyable all around! Highly recommend checking this out if you’re into food.

I did a cooking trip with this family, and I had a great time! It started with a market tour, then a bamboo boat ride and finally, a cooking class. The cooking class was amazing and we ended up making a lot of delicious, authentic food. The chef was clearly experienced, and was helpful and friendly. The market tour was interesting and personalized. The bamboo tour was fun. This is a family business and you can tell that they wanted me to have a great time. They picked me up and dropped me off. This was one of the highlights of my Vietnam trip, and I totally recommend, especially to other solo travelers as well.

We had a great time with Long. He showed us around the market and explained a lot about Vietnamese food. We were four people in our group and after a nice boat tour we enjoyed learning how to cook great vietnamese food. On top of that they served even more dishes, it was amazing.

Went on the tour with my partner. There were a total of 4 people on the tour which was a good amount. We started at the markets where the guide showed us the products that we would be using for the cooking. That was an eye opening experience.

Then in the some traditional boats to fish and paddle along the river. Finally we cooked with the guide and his partner in the restaurant. They were happy to cater for allergies and the food was delicious.

Much of the tour is undercover except for the fishing, so it didn't matter that it was raining.

The guide was very attentive and gave some great information.

Would HIGHLY recommend for anyone else.
