Having used this tour for years for customers it was a pleasure to try for myself. The tour starts in a local cafe with a cool drink before exploring the markets where our guide pointed out all the local foods - fresh vege/fruit, meat and fish. Opportunity to purchase local equipment - graters etc! Brilliant and make life much easier... More

The full-day course started with an interesting tour through an organic village where many herbs were grown. After that we went to a local market with more fruit and vegetables than I had ever seen before, some of which we bought for our meal. The cooking school is nicely designed and located at the riverside. Before starting to cook we... More

We booked the all day deluxe tour and loved every minute - including teenage kids. From our fab tour of organic farm to an informative trip to buy our produce at the market (thankfully we bypassed the plate of larvae and pigs snouts in favour of masses of fresh veg, prawns and chicken) we then ended up at our airy... We had a wonderful experience and true hands on cooking & learning Vietnamese cuisine. Delightful river setting, clean modern open air kitchen. Fantastic guide with great sense of humour through market and organic vegetable fields. Luna was our amazing chef, teaching us about flavours, balance & cooking, she made our day ! We ate what we prepared and cooked and... More

Leader Linh who has an apparent ability to start a party in an empty room, was largely responsible for the unexpected lively atmosphere. The course turned out to be an extra highlight in our wonderful three weeks in Vietnam and Cambodia. Linh has an impressive command of English (and Australian and American). She also has huge enthusiasm for the courses... More

We had an excellent time on this tour/cooking school! Really great entertainment and our guide was knowledgeable with a great sense of humor! We are a family of three and we had such a great time, the chef was brilliant and she helped us with our first attempts at cooking Vietnamese food. The lunch afterwards at red bridge restaurant was... More

The restaurant / cooking class combination is always a little tricky. We made the trip out to Red Bridge by boat, and learned five dishes to which we contributed to varying degrees. At times the instruction felt a little rushed - it may have been better to cook just three or even two dishes. The finished product was a little... More

The local maps bear only a vague resemblance to the actual roads so we got a little lost on our scooters and somehow ended up here for lunch unannounced. What a find. Very comforting outlook over the greenery to the river. Food was great and v attentive staff regularly checking everything was good (fish and coa Lau the pick) and... More

My fiancé and I did a full day cooking class at Red Bridge. We started with a trip to a sustainable farm outside Hoi An where we saw, smelled, and tasted different herbs. Then we went on a quick trip to the market, but our chef/guide didn't really explain what she was buying. By mid-day we finally headed out the... More

If I had to sum this up in one word it would be.....Fantastic! Excellent tour guides, chef and staff. Very friendly, great english, easy to understand. It was great going to the markets and learning about all the herbs, seeing the variety of produce and taking boat ride along river to the cooking school. Staff so helpful with any dietary... More
