Jack's Cafe is a great place to relax in Hoi An. They are doing an amazing work with rescued cats, and they need support to do it. So, they runs this cafe. You can go there and have a couple of beers or juices, have a delicious vegetarian food and play with the cats. Is so good! For animal's lovers this is a must to do.

This place is amazing and I am so happy there is an organisation in hoi an looking out for kitties! They are all looked after so well and it’s a beautiful safe sanctuary for the cats to live peacefully. I could have stayed here all day!

This courtyard cafe offers you a chance to mingle with some cute rescue kitties, as well as a couple of resident pooches. The volunteers are friendly and caring about animal welfare in Vietnam.

Your nominal 100,000 dong (USD$4) entrance fee includes a free drink. There's also an affordable vegan menu.

You do need to book ahead, via Facebook, but it's easy to do.

Tip: don't expect it to be like commercial cat cafes. These are rescue cats and this is a charity. That said, it's definitely worth stopping by.

Loved this place! So relaxing and charming. This is a rescue cat (domestic) sanctuary in a suburban part of Hoi An, about 5 min cab ride or 30 min walk from Old Town. There are 90+ rescued cats here, although you will probably only see about 30 at a time. They are super chill and friendly (the workers are, too!). They sell food and drinks (beer and wine, too). Yiu can also donate or sponsor a cat if you want. We loved it there - special shout out to Phillip and Rosy!

What a fantastic place !! Well done guys for setting up this wonderful sanctuary for cats. My daughter visited last year and loved it so we had to go and see for ourselves . It was a dreamy morning spending time with so many cats and I didn’t want to leave. If you love cats you must go!!!😻😻

Jack's provide an essential service in a top quality fashion. Unlike most cat cafe's, the cat's here are in no way kept confined and are free to roam the grounds.

A fully vegan kitchen maintains its truly ethical and sustainable standard and it is obvious from the diligence of the organisational structure and the way that volunteers undertake their jobs that everyone truly cares about their custodians.

Absolutely the highlight of my visit to Hoi An! There were 90 cats in residence, all of them rescued from the cat meat trade or life on the streets. They can roam freely on the huge property and are all well cared for. The quality of care and living conditions is evidenced by the friendliness of both cats and volunteers! A very worthy cause. All money donated goes directly to the cats. Volunteers receive no compensation, not even room or board. A fantastic sanctuary!!!

Jack's Cat Cafe offers a shelter for (stray) cats in Vietnam. These cats would otherwise have ended as meat for human consumption.

The cat cafe is outside of the city centre and you definitely need some form of a ride, but it's worth it!

The cats are kept in a large garden and house, where they can walk and sleep freely. The cafe is run by volunteers, which were mostly foreigners at the time we were there.

We were surprised how social and friendly the cats were. We are cat lovers, have a few of them ourselves and we do volunteer work in a cat shelter, but this type of cal social behaviour we haven't seen before. Apparently, the cats are treated so well that they like human company. Sit down, have a drink and something to eat (all vegetarian) and cats will come to you for a cuddle or sleep on your lap. If they don't come to you, they don't mind at all being petted.

The staff we met were all very friendly and took the time to explain the history of this shelter.

Very worth a visit and maybe a donation if you like what they do. We did.
