Wow what a beautiful sight! The square and madrassas are very beautiful and have a great atmosphere. The 3 facades hide fabulous internal structures and courtyards and are cool and spacious. Go back at night to see the buildings lit up beautifully.

One of the must see attractions. There is a viewing platform at top from which you can see all 3 sides of square. Depending on where sun is in sky though it is inevitable that one of the two side buildings (Ulug Beg Madrassa on...More

We went over to see the 'Light Show' in the evening as the place was lit up, however a Police cordon of possibly more than 100 officers made sure that you were kept well back unlike visiting in the daytime. So when the Sun goes...More

After having done extensive travelling in Central Asia, this is the most majestic and impressive place I have ever seen, and a must to visit. It is a fantastic collection of buildings (Madrasahs and Mosques) around a square, representing a long history, culture and great...More
