Climb up to get some good shots of the old city and the rio de la plata. On a clear day, you can see Buenos Aires from the top balcony.

The 25 Uruguayan peso entrance fee (less than 1USD) was definitely worth the view. It's not a terrible climb, but taller people should watch their head while climbing up. Both balconies offer lovely views of the city. This was one of the first things we...More

It's a long climb (and I heard some very heavy breathing from people ahead of us) but there is a balcony half way, so you don't have to go right to the top. If you do, the view is fantastic. Lots of people seem to...More

The best place to see Colonia and apreciate the view. It´s beautifull at the sunset. The stairs are very narrow, but with patience everybody can climb to the top.

So, this is another in my collection of "Attractions that Would Not Be Allowed in America." For the low price of $25 UYU (95 cents), you too can tempt fate, and hopefully cheat death. All you have to do is climb up the 2,248 harrowing,...More

Climb to the top and you'll have a 360 degree view of Colonia and Tio del Plata. Cheap entrance and the stairs does not kill you before you get to the top

The climb to the top is not difficult, but the steps are narrow, so you need to watch your step. When you get to the top, the view is quite beautiful, especially if the weather is clear and sunny. In addition, it is very cheap...More
