We had a schedule to stay here for 2 hours that day but there was nothing to do there because it was just plain grass. The only thing worth seeing is the fountain but other than that nothing interesting. It can be much much better 😒😒

Only visit for the Pearl monument
Jul 2019 • Solo
The Al Ittihad Square Park is a reasonably large green area across the road from the Central Souq in Sharjah, but cannot really be called a park. A park should ideally have plenty of shady trees (much-needed in the hot weather of UAE), play areas for children, barbeque spaces etc., but this park has none of these.

The only attraction here is the Pearl Monument, which harks back to the seafaring and pearl diving days of the city's earlier inhabitants. There is nothing else to do here for families as playing on the grass is not allowed. One can maybe spend time here in the evenings when the Central Souq and King Faisal Mosque are bathed in light, else, there's no reason to visit here.

Wonderful Park in Palm Jumeirah
Mar 2019 • Couples
It is an excellent park for a leisure walk or for a serious runner. The 2.5km strech is amezing dotted with fountains, ponds, children play area, health food eateries, super market.
It has a mono rail station (connecting to tram and onward to Dubai metro).
Worth visiting and unwind amidst Palm Jumeira - Golden mile towers.

The Most Honest Review
Jan 2019 • Friends
If you are in need of peace and tranquility, which is brilliant for an evening or a morning stroll, then this place is alright. Since it is located right next to a junction, ongoing traffic can prove to be a hindrance to the peace.
The park is more like acres of grass and that's about it. Except for the iconic pearl monument at the center, there really is nothing much. It is a great picnic spot for the most part but when it comes to recreation, there is very little that you are allowed to do. Football and other such sports cannot be played on the grass fields, although the myriad of grass field attract us in doing so. There is no recreational facility for small kids.
Apart from it being a really good place to walk around, have a chat or just get some time to yourself, there is very little that you can do here that it falls short of being qualified as a park.

Tranquillity during a busy work day
Nov 2018 • Solo
Al Ittihad Square Park is an oasis of tranquility in an otherwise bustling part of Sharjah. It is located between two iconic landmarks in the Emirate - the Sharjah Souk which is now 4 decades old and the King Faisal Mosque.

I took a break from meetings across the road this afternoon to walk around the Park and clear my head - although sunny the temperature was ideal for a walk given the onset of our cooler climate.

Clear pathways for walking or jogging and plenty of grassy areas to sit down on and relax. Strict regulations in force - no Barbecues or Sheeshah, no playing football on the grass, etc.

Nearest and dearest park

From last ten years we are almost a regular visitor of this park.sharjah has lots of big parks in different localities. It is one of them. This is al qasimia area , which has two most important places like ,Al itihad park and Saudi Mosque. It is so nicely maintained that everybody from this area likes to visit the park at least once in a day if possible. There is one beautiful monument centrally located in the park which is a tourist attraction for a valid reason. Lots of migratory
Birds come every year during winter.

A huge park in the middle of the city. Offers free Yoga classes from 6.30 -7.303
Sep 2017 • Family
This park is a boon to the crowded Qassimia and King Adbul aziz street residents.
It is a vast expanse of greenery, mostly of use to adults for walking and exercising, with Free Yoga classes in the evenings,
There are no swings and slides for kids and balls are not allowed.
Has awesome panoramic views of Shariah skyline and the train souk.
Early mornings and evenings have good breeze from the Cornish nearby, A very relaxing place even in the hot summers.
