Beautiful Masjid in Sharjah in the corniche area. Amazing view of the lagoon. Best viewing time is just before sunset.

Open for tourists to come inside and see. Use the link to book the slots. Nice place to learn about Islamic Culture.

Most amazing when the light festival is there. Stunning.

Women’s prayer hall is available.

Large parking space.

Wheelchair accessible.

The Imam of the mosque, Shaikh Mortada, is a well-known scholar full of knowledge and recites beautifully. He follows the Imam Shafei knowledge.

Well-recommended for Jumaa and Fajr Prayer.

The mosque is not open for tourists.

This mosque gives free tours every Monday at 10:00. It is the only one in Sharjah open to those who are not Muslim. We were given a most interesting presentation by a knowledgable lady who told us not only about the mosque itself, but explained the principles of the Muslim faith. At the end, questions were answered, and they served us Arabic coffee and dates. I think this is an excelent idea, and appreciate these people showing us their place of worship. It promotes understanding.

Visiting the mosque is a very nice experience. Not just because if the amazing architecture. It was a presentation too about Islam, the traditional clothes of Emirates and the Arabic coffee too. And a coffee tasting at the end of the visit. The ladies very kind and I got answer to my questions about Islam. I highly recommend this visit.

Al Noor mosque is situated at Buhairah corniche in Sharjah. I occasionally visit the mosque when I am in Sharjah. It's one of the most decorated and beautiful mosques in the UAE. Apparently it is made on water because water covers it from three sides. People from far away places come here especially to offer prayers. On Fridays and Eid, it's a delightful view with thousands of people attending the prayers.

This is mosque for Muslims
Going inside is not recommended

Thus take a couple of photos and leave

It is relatively modern construction however the design is attractive

Better to see it evening and night time
Since it is very close to Al Majaz waterfront then you can visit both at once
