Location : very easy to travel from dubai you can take E303 bus from Union station. And you can walk only 5-10 mins to reach the museum.

I have been in Sharjah heritage festival 2021 event

Museum has educated the visitor the history of UAE, also some shows and traditional food are offered.

You can see real of Emirati culture and history and information in this place, unfortunately, i went to see some place inside the museum they have only arabic description. (May be because of the festival idk)

There is very good place for all ages to visit.

I recommend this place to anyone.

Small, but informative museum about the life of people in Sharjah
Aug 2019
Sharjah has a number of museums dedicated to various aspects of life, but the Sharjah Heritage Museum is the one that actually tells how people in the Emirate lived. This museum is in a small building in the heart of Sharjah and some portions of it are currently undergoing renovation, but it's worth a visit.

The museum has a number of galleries in different rooms covering aspects such as Livelihood, Leisure, Celebrations, Traditional Knowledge, Folklore and various Occupations of the people. Some of the displays had interactive features too, particularly in the Folklore section.

The museum was very informative in terms of the depth of coverage, which was an added plus. One could feel how the weather and topography and the religion of Islam influenced the people and their way of life. Entry to the museum is AED 10, though one can take a joint ticket for 4 Heritage museums for AED 20 also.

One of several museums that offer a combined ticket and well worth spending an hour or so here to learn a bit about the emirate's history. Nicely presented, full English signage. .

It was a small place but very precise with quick information about the local history of the people, place and culture. The small art gallery was awesome. It was a good start to learn more about the country.

Well done small museum for local history before oil
Dec 2018 • Couples
Nicely laid out museum to tell the story of the emirate people before the discovery of oil. The changes took place after 1972. It is mind blowing to see the way life was just a short time ago.. Artifacts are well maintained and you do not need a guide to enjoy your visit. Story boards are in English and well done. It takes about an hour to do justice to the exhibits. I think" tweens" would even enjoy the visit.
