I saw this beach while travelling from Dubai on a visit a day to my departure. The beach has extended to areas close to the three main markets of the city which makes it quite accessible to beach goers and tourists like myself. I went to the beach to enjoy the cool weather and sea breeze and after returned back to the fruits market.

There is a bit of redevelopment work taking place but the beach is huge and the sea lovely and calm. There are a number of lifeguard stations to ensure safety and plenty of walking and running tracked behind the beach for those looking to keep fit. There are limited food and drink options on the beach itself so you should ensure you take your own provisions if visiting for the day. There are plenty of litter bins to dispose of rubbish and the beach was very clean.
