- ArvindAbu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates812 contributionsAmazing places for sea food lovers! It is designed in traditional style and they have more than eighty species of sea food. It also includes a separate section fruit and vegetables, and meat. They have proper cleaning area for the fishes and lots of people working to clean the fishes. It is located between Corniche Road and Sharjah Creek. It extremely vibrant, energetic and busy. Amazing cleanliness.Visited February 2020Traveled with familyWritten February 22, 2020
- IgudaKatsina State, Nigeria104 contributionsA very nice amrket well planned in the city of Sharjah UAEThis market is one of the three markets at the center of Sharjah city close to the bus station. I just trekked to reach the markets to see lots of fresh fruits for sale including food stuffs. I was surprise to find yams among the food crops on sale and i was told it is from my country's capital Abuja and there is water yams from Ghana. I had my breakfast in one of the food canteen at the market and ot was nice. After visiting the other two markets located close by i still came back to this market to buy some provisions at a super market at the market.Visited December 2020Written December 20, 2020
- tdel122 contributionsLoved fresh fruitsAlmost all fruits and vegetables meat and fish under one roof. Clean and well arranged market. And prices are cheaper too. Seasonal fruits makes worth visiting. Variety and selection are really good. Plenty of parking space. And there are people if you needed your car cleaned while you buy your stuff.Visited October 2021Traveled with familyWritten October 9, 2021

- AgotaT2015Budapest, Hungary149 contributionsNot just for shopping...I love this souq so much.it was not my first visit. The building is beautiful and we can find fresh vegetables, fruits , juices and small restaurants too. The fish market is very exciting, especially the people who have no Sea at home.. like me :) we can find meat market too, and special shops for many kind of honey and fried fruits. So the market is not just for shopping we can spend nice time there.Visited November 2018Traveled soloWritten December 12, 2018

- Manish KDubai, United Arab Emirates3,970 contributionsLarge, modern market in SharjahSouq Al Jubail is not exactly a souq (traditional market), like some of the heritage souqs in Dubai or Sharjah. It's a spacious, modern building, built next to the Sharjah Creek, across the road from Al Jubail Bus Station. The souq externally has some traditional architectural elements such as domes and Islamic patterns. Internally, it has three sections: one each dedicated to vegetables, fish and meat. The place is well air-conditioned, so the smell does not carry and is, by and large, a hygienic place. Unlike other shopping destinations, there are few activities here for those who are not into shopping. There are barely 1-2 joints where one can eat. There are some good date sellers in the vegetables section, offering a nice variety of dates. One can spend about 45 minutes here.Visited October 2019Written November 9, 2019

The meat and fish market is on the right side of this air conditioned building, and the fruit and veg market is on the left. There are two huge closed-off, fish-cleaning rooms and it is amazing to see the many staff hard at work! I never seen an organized and clean wet market as this one. It is segmented with glass door and air conditioned. Nice to shop. Brought kilos of dates and nuts from this place. Price is half of Singapore and about 30% cheaper than Dubai supermarket. Pistachios is at AED40 per kg and Ajwa dates is at AED60 per kg. Never seen that much dates in my life

I go once or twice a week to this sook, the vendors are friendly and offer fresh produce concerning fruits and vegetables, meat of all kinds and also fish with a small barbecue service on request. The hygiene and cleanliness are perfect, a great experience to recommend for all.
