Unbelievable that such a natural spring water exists in the middle of the Arabian Desert. Earlier it used to be a stream of water sprouting from the rocks and flowing down to the desert. Now the place have been developed with two pools, separate for men and women. The fact is that throughout the year there is abundant natural spring water in the pools and its always warm even during winter. People say that it has therapautic healing power for skin diseases and to take a bath in this pool is recomended. There are changing rooms, showers and even you can rent a room for accomodation also here. Also natural herbal massages are available here.

The hot springs gives a nice feeling specially in the starting winter although the place is small but its acceptable since there is no much crowd and the there is a link to it from the hotel golden tulip as we were staying there, a rock stair from the hotel crossing the mountain and the staff there was also friendly and informative

We have just literally left khatt springs and spa ..... After planning on spending a day here we are extremely disappointed to leave after just one hour
This place is absolutely disgusting. The entrance/reception to the springs is very welcoming , however once u are down the stairs it's a different story , the water is very poorly maintained , the sunbeds are disgustingly dirty , Mosquitos everywhere , litter left all over the ground & more importantly - there was a child's dirty nappy left under a sunbed .

We left the spa feeling dirty !!!!
We couldn't have a shower as the showers are filthy .

Overall we are very disappointed and shocked at the cleanliness of this place .

Badly manage. Dirty and lack of hygiene. People are swimming with dirty clothes on. Children are playing into the sauna and hammam.
We took some friends from France there for a day use but it was a disaster and shame on us.

Khatt springs is right next to golden tulip khatt resort and spa, now it is very well managed with temperature controlled spring water, initially it was open to all, now its by pay per visit. And it also has a kerala ayurvedic massage and spa which was very very relaxing after a dip in the springs. In all I would suggest atleast once a must. As the resort is also very well maintained. And the khatt springs are also well maintained. A must visit at least once.

We did not visit the hotel, just passed through on the way to the Springs. The two are connected by a steep walk way so long that one is best advised to park directly at the Springs instead of the hotel. The property is located on the edge of steep hills with wonderful views. But that’s where the pleasantness ended.

The spa reception was deceptively well maintained. The unkempt state of the main swimming pool should have been adequate warning of things to come. Still having driven for hours from Dubai and spending only EAD50 a head we soldiered on.

The place has seen better days. It is visibly filthy; spotted spilt dried sticky soda and stale popcorn on the ground indicating it is not cleaned daily, if at all. Showers are disgusting, lockers dusty, toilets run down.

Dipping in the spring itself is quite lovely with warm tickling bubbles once you zone out your surroundings. We had intended to have a full spa day experience but we left within an hour of arrival.

I remain thankful towels were clean and that nothing sprouted from my feet or neck afterwards; it was that nasty. Needs a complete overhaul. Stay away.

Stayed in the Khatts Spring during Eid. The hotel location is good with very good mountain view and the interiors are also good.

But this hotel is badly managed/maintained. The receptionist is un friendly. Urgently in need of a customer realtionship training.
The towels in the room are worn out. Tried calling the reception, operator, room service but they don't pick up.When you go and ask they answer they were busy. The rooms does not have internet access.

My husband and i went here as I had a back injury and the water has healing properties. The water was so hot 40 degrees but so nice and relaxing. Your skin felt so good after and when we went we were the only ones there so it was super nice. all this for only 50AED. we stayed for about an hour but loved it. Well worth a visit. Our skin was so soft after.

The place is restricted and access possible if you stay in Golden Tulip hotel. For other visitors, there is entry fee.
