Not spectacular but good for an hour to look around. There are rooms to go in, a bit about pearl diving and lots of relics discovered in the tombs.

This is a great place to visit and discover the history of RAK. It was the old home of the ruling family and has been transformed well.

Really similar to all the museums in the Emirates- old houses full of artefacts from the forgotten years which actually weren't all that long ago! I can't remember if it was free or a small fee. When we visited we were the only ones there and we took some great pics. Toilets are beautifully and weirdly super clean and nice!

An interesting building, around an open courtyard, which gives a good flavour of the area and the culture. The contents are arranged in a rather old-fashioned way, but if you persvere there is a lot of interest, and some of the historical items are good.

Lovely venue but needs upkeep. It was only 5aed so we didn't mind paying but after entering there are no staff to answer questions. Most rooms were locked and some unsafe aspects.

Rooms in the old fort are full of history of the city. The fort Was the home of the ruler. After the visit take a walk to the sea front and wander round the local shops.
