The place is nice.. Staffs are friendly especially to O L I, who assisted us in our reservation (we are group of 10 and he managed to get us a nice table, thanks Oli) he's a nice guy and even their manager is accomodating, and of course, handsome ☺️☺️☺️☺️

The ambiance is cozy. You cannot go to this place without a reservation which gives exclusivity to the place. Food is great. Their breakfastis tasty! Will try their lunch or dinner menu next time ☺️

Overall, the place is highly recommended. ☺️

Want to get high? Then take a trip to Jais Mountain in the Ras Al Khaimah emirate. Its only 2 hours away from Dubai and all worth it. Lots of views, fresh air and climbing adventures. You can get to the top by booking a reservation at restaurant 1484 by Puro or walking 1,5 km to the top from the parking lot. By making a reservation at the restaurant, you are aloud to drive the 1,5 km up the restaurant road. Its pretty difficult to get a reservation, so I just walked the 1,5 km and its was totally easy. Once you are at the top, you can hike and even get to the highst point (Oman side of the mountain). But be aware that you need vise in case guards ask you for it. Having seen any guards, but you never know. Is all worth it and the view from the top is breathtaking!

We were staying in Al Hamra so not too far to drive, (about an hour) . Following recommendations from our regular driver who suggested we go and see the sunset, which during December is about 5.30. Very good road to the top and the landscape reminded me of what the surface of the moon may look like, Sandy coloured rocks with little vegetation.
Went as far as zip line start and then down to a car park/viewing area. Had an expensive coffee and an equally expensive pizza before watching the sunset. Unfortunately, the second time we went with other friends the sky was cloudy, spoiling what is a lovely sunset.
Worth a visit if you have a spare afternoon and means of transportation.

I always wanted to go camping at Jebel Jais so that I could stay there for the whole night to witness both sunset and sunrise. After a long time, finally I succeeded this time to do so. I did camping on 13th December when it was extremely cold over there with clear sky to witness the Meteor shower. It was a really very nice experience to see Meteor shower first time in my lifetime.

Jebel Jais is the highest mountain in the UAE, which always has 5 degree less temperature than the plains in UAE. It is well connected by a smooth road with scenic views and well managed by the UAE government, which ensures everyone will get a clean and hygiene area to stay out there with safety and security. You can also get food and other required stuff at food stalls which open 24x7.

This place is also having some amazing mountain trek and oasis which will definitely give you a lifetime experience.

I started my journey from Dubai and took a halt at Ras Al-Khaimah Zoo after a smooth drive of around 1Hr. I spent around 2 Hrs at Zoo then went to a restaurant for lunch in the main city. I continued my journey for Jebel Jais again which was 50 km from the restaurant and took only an hour to reach there.

Do camping, bonfire and barbecue there and don't forget to carry lots of warm clothes as the temperature drops to 4 degree and sometimes even below zero at night during winters.

We came out to visit the zip line as we were in the area, but couldnt as it was closed due to high winds. So we stopped at the viewing platform a couple of miles before the summit. There is a paid viewing spot 5aed each but plenty of free stop offs also. The climb is gentle but takes a good 45 mins to get up there but views are stunning, our 10 and 6 year olds just about survived the drive but any longer and they would have gone bonkers🤣

A great trip and if you are thinking of doing the zip line pre book!!

Near the top of the road, there are parking places, food providers, toilets and a viewing platform. After a security checkpoint, the road continues up a few kilometers further to the world's longest zip-line and an Etisalat cell tower, as well as a large flat area used for outdoor shows and parking. New buildings are also being built along this road section, for use of the zip-line operating company.

Sometimes a quick plan makes unforgettable memories.

A night camping at Jabel Jais mountain was an awesome experience.

Distance from Dubai is 110KM but it took two hour due to some off-road drive.
Obviously an SUV is not must, however it is indeed recommended.

All you need a camp and a battery light which are easily available at the cost of AED 200. It will give you an ease when cooking or settling.

You can do BBQ at any point, nevertheless cleaning your surroundings are essential.
Your trip could end with a hefty fine if you're guilty either not to maintain cleanliness or dump ashes at undesignated area.

Enjoy the fullest with a night under the sparkling stars and morning in a fresh air.

Jabel jais will never disappoint you with its breathtaking views. Perfect place to enjoy your hot drinks in the winter and perfect escape during the summer.

Overnight stay is not suggested and not recommended however nearby hotels in RAK may cover you incase your driving from other Emirates.

Take enough water, blanket some food items with you and rest all the convenient stuff would be easy available at the top point.

You can go anytime of the year however avoid during rain, check the weather forecast before planning a road trip.

Ps: worlds longest zip line should be part of your agenda without fail.

We spent a wonderful day out with family visiting Jebel Jais. It is about 1h drive from Ras Al Khaimah. Road is good. You always find a parking on the way up with to enjoy the views and restrooms. There is a shaded parking at the top where you can park comfortably for a small fee. The view is gorgeous from both sides of the road we found a great playground for kids. You can buy some food and refreshments.
Very enjoyable place.
