We went to Jebel Jais for hiking during our stay in Ras Al Khaimah. There are 2 points, where you can start your hike. If you start to hike up the mountain, there is small fee to be paid. In order to go up and to hike down, it is required to have the reservation for zip-line or restaurant as there was a barrier in order to go up. We arranged the taxi to go to the very up, where restaurant is and we hiked down from there. The start of the hiking trail is not very clearly marked and it took us a bit of time to undrestand where it starts :) Also the trail itself is rather narrow and with a lot of stones there, so you need to pay attention where you are going, but definitely the view was absolutely worth it! The mountains are majestic, with various formations, on the other side you can see the sea. It was rather windy at times, so was a good idea to have something to cover your ears. Overall experience is highly recommended.

We booked a day trip to the Jebel Jais of Ras-al-Khaimah at the hotel and were not disappointed. It takes some time to get to the beginning of the Hajar Mountains by car, the roads are well developed. This slowly winds up along the karstic mountain range in well-developed curves. You can always rest in parking lots, sometimes there are smaller catering containers, but are mostly closed. You see great and different rock formations, dried-up wadis, now and then a house We stopped again and again at one of the many park coves to enjoy the wonderful views of the limestone cliffs of the Hajar Mountains. At the top parking lot, around 1500m is then end with the further drive, a barrier blocks the access, you can then only continue on the pass road if you have a reservation in the restaurant higher up. If you then have some adrenaline left, you can ride/fly the supposedly longest zipline on several stages, even a summer toboggan run – if it is open – you should definitely check beforehand everything that was open, with us most was closed – was a Tuesday. Truly a unique experience to enjoy the mountains of the Hajar Mountains. If this review has been helpful to you, please activate the "Helpful Button"!

Jebel Jais is a place you must visit in UAE. I was staying an hour away and hired a private driver through the hotel to take me here. We stopped at the viewing deck which is only a few AED to access and has a car park. I went during Ramadan so it was quiet. At one point I had the whole viewing deck to myself, making it a unique and peaceful experience, giving time to soak up the views. There’s even a small playground with swings, a slide, and climbing frames at the top. I can imagine it being really busy and a different experience during busy season. I came in March, sunshine keeps you fairly warm, worth having a sweater to hand too.

The road trip to Jabal Jais is amazing, with beautiful stop points and camping spots along the way. We were there for a day trip but an overnight camping trip is the thing to do. The deck park is a very nice place to spend time at and you can go for a short hike as well. It's the must to do road journey in UAE, scenic, serene and full of discovery. At all points amenities are well placed like washrooms etc.

It was very good and amazing place to hang out. Me and my wife enjoyed the whole night and morning at the Jabel Jais. It was very cold though. Recommend to wear good warm clothes. We went around 11 PM at night, did barbeque and spent night at tent. And there was the most awaited Sunrise timing. It was unforgettable.

Highly recommend this zipline to anyone who wants to experience flying like Superman at about 100 mph for a couple minutes. I have a bit of a fear of heights - would never bungy jump or parachute - but felt safe the whole time. Staff were professional. Was the first zipline I've ever tried and don't regret it. Bit of a drive from Dubai, about 2.5 hours one way.

We booked a RAK tour through Dubai-Privat with Marion, which started with a zipline ride up the highest mountain in the UAE. A beautiful sight and a great excursion destination. The guides there provided excellent support, which made the zipline experience unique.
Thanks again to Marion, who made our day with her expertise and friendliness. Highly recommended!!

What a beautiful scenic road! There are about a dozen viewpoint stops along the way as well as a private area facing Westward that would give you a great vantage point of a sunset if you can time it properly (small fee applies).

Ensure you are in L/B gear heading downhill as the decline is quite steep. If you plan to be there after sunset, bring a light jacket as it gets noticeably cold, even in summer.

Perfect escape to an adventure and roadtrip; you will always find a few degrees less, making it the perfect escape when the temperature in the city still keep us indoor. There is a lot of space for the little ones to play, a playground and walking area with breathtaking view. The sledder experience is simply WOW , there is a zip line available too that I didn t try but looks amazing. Pure lounge offers some great dining ( with a view) option, a booking being required, or just their fast food option if you want a quick food option at the picnic area down by the deck point .

The staff were excellent. They were very professional, gave you a lot of confidence and guided through the experience making you feel very calm and relaxed. The ride itself was very smooth, fast and the views were amazing. You get the option to film the ride with a helmet video camera either facing you or away from you to capture the view. Afterwards they download your video and give you a link and password to download it. There is also a restaurant there, the highest in UAE, with great views although the prices were equally high.

It was indeed an absolute adventure , a breath of a fresh air, as well as perfect weather in winter. the fact that we are living in the UAE, December or winter here is a must awaited season. A season for camping. We went on a weekend getaway and very suprised on the perfect location Jebel Jais mountain never fails to surprise us with its natural picturesque beauty.Nearby viewing deck areas parking is absolutely free. there were plenty of camping locations to choose from on the way up to the mountain. I suggest to travel in the morning to find a great spot and set up your tents before dark. there were security patroling around to make sure bonfire were properly lit. large bins are designated every where so there is no reason to litter. A complete package for family who love adventure on the rocky mountain. next morning we found ourselves appreciating a beautiful sunrise and a very cold and breezy weather.

We went to Jebel Jais mountain mainly for Sledder and trekking. Both were fantastic one advise - if you want the best experience of sledder (that is high/ full speed) make sure the rider in front of you is at least 30 seconds ahead. If the rider in front of you is slow - your cart will automatically slow down and dampen your experience.

What an experience , good god . Every person must experience it in their lifetime . Once you overcome that initial fear / hesitation , you are going to enjoy every bit of the ride. It took us approx an hour to finish the formalities such as sign the waver form and get dressed for the occasion and later it's approximately 2 mins ride e2e. The tough part was to reach Jabal Jais from Dubai. So while traveling to the point I decided to take a bus from Dubai to Al Hamara (the closest bus stop close to Jabal Jais) and from their I took an taxi which costed me approx 5.5K INR , one can book cabs through apps like get transfer or even better if you know some localities driving through the destinations. I was lucky to meet Mr Asghar (+971551857167) who then drove me back from the zipline spot to Dubai mall directly and his charges were justified as well , moreover him being a true gentleman the journey was safe & smooth. Highly recommend this trip / experience to all.

I had a brilliant time from start to finish. Was grouped with another 7 people to do the Sky Tour then the Sky Flight. All the staff were very helpful from start to finish. Extra shout out to Azhar - perfect sense of humour. His harmonica is a special touch to his safety gear🤣

I would totally recommend doing the Sky Tour as a build up before doing the main zipline (flighl itself.
Breathtaking to say the least!!

The place is nice.. Staffs are friendly especially to O L I, who assisted us in our reservation (we are group of 10 and he managed to get us a nice table, thanks Oli) he's a nice guy and even their manager is accomodating, and of course, handsome ☺️☺️☺️☺️

The ambiance is cozy. You cannot go to this place without a reservation which gives exclusivity to the place. Food is great. Their breakfastis tasty! Will try their lunch or dinner menu next time ☺️

Overall, the place is highly recommended. ☺️
