Museums are always a wealth of information regarding the history of the area and this was no exception. Learned much about the northernest Emirate.

It is an interesting place to visit as it shows about the area. Also it was one of the old residences of the Late HH Sheikh Saqr Alqasimi the late Ruler of Ras al khaimah. A lot work should be done and a lot more attention has to be given to improve the quality and information of the displays and... More

We like the museum, full of historic information on the very old civilization. We learn the route they travel in the old days. How they travel and places they stop over. The museum is not big but it is enough for my kids to learn about the history of the city.

The museum has no guide so please be sure to push open any door that is unlocked, that is where the exhibits are hidden. Informative so please do spend time reading It is kind of neglected in my point of view but it is interesting to know a little about RAK over the exhibits and and write-ups Climb up to... More

The staff had endeavored to present the artifacts well, and the air conditioning in the display rooms really helped on a hot day. The old fort was interesting but there was not any information about it - it was all about local archeology and artifacts. Very cheap entrance price.

Museum charge was 5AED per person. After paying admission, I was left to my own, to figure out where to go, what to see, etc. Staff disinterested in assisting clients. Facility needs to cleaned and painted, with a guide available to answer any questions Rooms were dark and not clean

It is the national muesum of Ras Al Khaimah. Reach of old and modern history like knives, jars, gems, and sea equipments. I recommend to have some videos and more photos. Recommended when you are in R.A.K

Very simple museum, you won't need a long time to go round but worth seeing all the same. A small charge to get in. Lots of history about the Emirates from the early days. Would be incredible to visit some of the areas that they mention but it was summer and too hot.

As part of my tour in ras al khaimah ..We drop in the museum.it was not bad as it is.but I am looking for something else.something that shows truly the image of the state..I believe there must be something to display on it but for sure this museum will expand..

We visited the museum to learn more about the rich maritime history, however there were very few artifacts and updates to the place. It had basic historical artifacts, but no new information. It is very well maintained and does offer a good place for pictures
