Intriguing place, can see the petroglyphs even at night. Large area to wnader around day or night, lovely walking paths, very peaceful. Could spend time in the park with family or picnicking.

This is a lovely venue for families to visit, and has the added archaeological attractions which make it a park like no other in Al Ain. The area is clean and well kept, and the tombs and settlement remains have informative signs in both English and Arabic.

Some internet research beforehand informed us that opening times are 10am-10pm on Fridays and 4-9 pm on other days for families only. However when we arrived - just after 10am on Friday - we discovered (and so did a few other tourists) that the park was closed. The security guard was very helpful and informed us that opening hours have been changed and are now 4pm-11pm daily. Unfortunately none of the websites have been updated with this information.

This park is worth a visit if you are in the area.

I travel to see historical sites, so when I see "Archaeological Park", I'm off. Although the Hili site dates back to the Bronze Age, 3,000BC, there's very little to see and what you can see is reconstructed. The few things you can see are scattered in a family entertainment park with lots of sports fields, nice gardens and fountains.
A nice place to take the family for a picknick, not for the history buff.

Hili Archaeological Park is an amazing combination of archaeological sites and a park for walking.
Perfectly clean green park, in which some archaeological sites are located in open access.
One of the main monuments is the Great Tomb in Hili. Her age is more than 4000 years, diameter is 12 meters, and height is not less than 4 meters. In the mid-1970s, it was restored. In ancient times it was covered with a roof.
Next to the Great Tomb is the site of Hili 1, once upon a time there was a tower of clay brick, the height of which would be several meters. It was excavated in the 1960s by Danish archaeologists. A thick round wall was discovered, inside which there were several rooms, in the center of which was a well. Today we can only see the foundation of this building.
All structures found in Healy are dated back to 3000 BC. until 2000 BC.

Simply, the best place to go with your family. kids enjoy wide green places, where they can run, eat, play without getting bored or hurt. There are few historical sites in the park that goes back to a civilization centuries ago which is awesome. Don't miss it!

When welcoming friends visiting the UAE, we always send them to Al Ain to visit this Bronze Age site in Al Ain and the nearby oasis.
Access is easy from the Dubai-Al Ain highway just before entering the Al Ain town.

The Bronze Age tombs are located within a green park which makes the visit an agreable moment. Tombs are from the 3rd millenium B.C.

No need to spend hours there (tombs are concentrated in a small area) unless having a picnic in the park.

This place is only for families. When my parents come to visit, I take them there. It is especially great during the winter and beginning spring. It also has some of the oldest tombs in the world. Must Visit.
