I’ve been to this cinema numerous times with my teen daughter, solo and with friends.

It’s never disappointed me.

What more can you ask for than
Cuortious staff
Brilliant facilities
Variety of food and beverages
Variety of movies
Clean and safe

Highly recommended!!

Around 10 screens here, several upstairs with their own snack bars. We were in 'Platinum 9' hall. Large, comfortable seats with wide armrests. Air conditioning at a sensible level. Cleaning staff in the moment the film finished.
They started playing the wrong film, but changed it immediately we informed them.

The new platinum cinemas are an updated version of an ordinary cinema so do not be fooled by a bit of leather. Strangely, their increased 'level' does not appear to include furnishing the toilet facilities with toilet paper. 'I'm just going there now' is no excuse when three hours before there was none either. Neither was there any manager present. Nothing ha changed. Still sloppily managed.

The Bawadi mall in Al Ain is our preferred mall to visit and just walk around. They have many nice stores and a large food court. The Bawadi Mall is joined with the Ayla Bawadi Hotel. Taxis to and from Al Ain proper usually run around 20 to 24 AED. Taxis are easy to locate goimg and coming. There is a market place located behind the mall where you can see camels, sheep, pet stores etc. There are also many carpet stores located around the outside of the mall.
The cinemas are similar to other cinemas is Al Ain. Tickets are 30 AED each and usual you pick your exact seat when you buy the ticket. We have visited here for several movies and never had a negative experience. The seats are comfortable and recline slightly. The movie selection here usually has more movies than the other cinemas.

I don't like watching movies at Bawadi Mall: the theaters are so small, prices are very high and snacks are too expensive. I therefore visit Grand Cinemas once in a blue moon. I prefer Al Foah Mall Oscar Cinemas instead. It's quieter and a relaxed, family atmosphere is felt.

I have just returned from attempting to watch the final episode of The Hobbit. To my left the local lit his pipe twice, there was a constant barrage of mobile phone ringtones and answered conversations, none of which appeared to be able to be conducted in a whisper. Others walked in and out crossing in front of those there to watch the film. In many years of attending the cinema, this is the worst experience by far. The utter lack of respect for others appears to be rampant and condoned by managers who, when I asked for them, were 'not there'. Then an individual purporting to be one came out of his office. Why was he in his office, when he admitted he knows what goes on in he place he is paid to manage properly? He pleaded with me to give him another chance in the future. The future? It will be a cold day in hell before I set foot in Bawadi Mall Cinemas again. If I make the effort to go and watch a film, I expect to do so, unassailed by noise and smoke. And I expect to see managers on the ground enforcing my right to do so, not hiding away in the back.

Good cinemas but take something warm as the air-conditioning can be quite low. Also, if it is too loud you can request the speakers be toned down a bit. Nice seats and big screens in all the theatres. Inexpensive at 30 dirhams for most shows.

The Bawadi Mall has everything as styled on a US Mall. Great selection of outlets including named brands. Large Carrefour supermarket, huge choice of food outlets and an indoor amusement area complete with indoor roller coaster and educational crèche area to cater for a kids of all ages. Outside the Mall there are a range of "local" outlets for rugs etc. a short stroll leads you to the camel market......well worth the time and effort to see how things are done buying and selling these amazing animals however a word of caution.....don't get picked up by a trader who'll want to "escort"you around and then finally demand 100 Dhs for doing so......be firm, be polite and make it clear you do not need his services, this will ensure that there are no misunderstandings later!

I quote this review by one of your readers "Go and catch the early showings, there are no locals, no kids, and it is quiet and enjoyable.". I find it very offensive, uncalled for, dragatory, and frankly racist againt the so called "locals" in their own home. I have been th cinemas in all over the Emirtares and yes the locals are not perfect but neither the person who wrote such comment or the rest. The "locals" weclomed you in their home, so please show some respect.
