NO COMMUNICATION OF NO REFUND POLICY
1.0 of 5 bubblesApr 2023
We came to the said establishment Sunday April 23rd 2023 at passed 1pm and directly went to cashier, the Fee is 60 AED each and paid 423 AED in Total with 3 AED credit card charge. When going inside we expect to give us an Identification card or paper to use for the ride but the security personnel there's nothing but just go inside. when we were inside the establishment the rides are available but there's operator to switch on and off the rides BUT THERE's NO ONE TO ASSIST US to RIDE, PUT THE SEAT BELT for safety and arrange the RIDE. So we decided to leave the place and ask for a refund. Now one of the security and also cashier also told us refund is not allowed. Then I ask for the Operation Supervisor when I am waiting for the person in charge the same cashier we handed over the payment JUST told us there's no refund and she shows us a small written note with all information 'non-refundable' but she inform us AFTER we paid and went inside already. Mr JAWAD came and I introduced myself and I ask directly for refund and told him we DO NOT USE ANY OF THE SERVICES of the Establishment. Then he said it's not possible but I told him WE ARE NOT INFORMED only then AFTER we paid. Then He ask the same cashier (Filipina Cashier) then when we ask for if she informed us she told us 'IT IS NOT MY RESPONSIBILITY TO INFORM YOU ABOUT THE REFUND' additionaly I ask for the OFFICIAL Receipt not the card receipt, they also do not give. Then I told Mr JAWAD that there's a problem in your system but he insisted not to refund and even if we call the police they will not refund. He said. I am writting this to get the fair treatment, we don't use any of the service of them and the system was not organized. we are asking for simple Refund.  And more worst during the process the staff seems like they don't care and there's no CUSTOMER SERVICE team to attend to our concern, MR JAWAD was rude and the Filipina Cashier was VERY rude.

A fun city with many rides to enjoy in open area. The tickets price around 50 to 60AED and in that you can enjoy each ride any number of times. Don't visit the place on public holidays otherwise you will have to wait in queue at each ride for long time.

We have been to Hili Fun City 2 months ago. My wife and our 3 years old daughter tried hard to enjoy the park but unfortunately it was not what we were expecting. Maybe our expectations were too high.

What we liked was the entrance fee which is really reasonable. The number of rides is acceptable. But what made us sad was the staff. I fully understand and respect that Fridays are holy in the UAE which I know from my own culture. But either do not open a park before the employees come back from the prayer and if the park is open then make sure that the employees are supervising the rides. Many rides were not supervised even though the park was open already since 1 hour.

Apart from that I would appreciate if the management would coach the staff on how to deal with 3 years old excited children. If the staff gives orders to children like in the army then I must say this is not fun and not impressive at all for them. Learn from Disneyland or Europa Park or any other park. It is not difficult to give a child the feeling of being welcome.

Foodwise I must agree with some comments made for Hili Fun City. The selection is not great and not healthy at all.

I think there is a lot of potential to improve for Hili Fun City to make it a great park because it is possible.

Worth paying AED 60 entry fee. Good for kids. Spend 3-4 Hours. Better to visit after noon in summer days. Keep food if you want. No good restaurants are inside apart from one KFC which runs out of food easy.

I have good memories of Hili Fun City from my school days, with about 3-4 school trips about 10-15 years ago. Having heard that the whole facility was out of shape and many rides non-functional, I was strongly discouraged to make any repeat visits in the past 10 years.

Having been encouraged by news that the whole place was revamped and new rides added about 18 months ago, I made the trip last weekend. We were a group of 2 couples, grandpa and grannie, and my 2 niece aged 8 and 2.

Our expectations were pretty low, as we live in Dubai where the prices of anything worthy of being called 'good entertainment' for the family is priced steeply, and the facilities are actually not worthy of the $$$ you pay for.

Tickets are priced at AED 45.00 per person (kids till 3 are allowed free, children above this are priced full) and this includes entry to the park plus unlimited use of about 28 of the 31 rides.

Since we weren't too aware of the eating facilities, we had our lunch at a gas station on the highway before we made it across to the Hili Fun City. To our surprise, not only there are plenty of shops selling good (& low priced) snacks all around, but there are designated BBQ stations for the family to have a good picnic.

Having reached there by 2:30pm, we found the weather surprisingly warm and a bit comfortable. We started with a few kids for the kids, and than went on the roller coaster, which was just about ok.

We followed it up with a some more 'thrill' rides, and than queued up to go to the 3D cinema. It took us a good 30 mins to get in, but it was worth the wait: the experience is amazing and even though the 'movie' is 10 mins long, its a nice experience (and you don't pay extras for it: its covered in your ticket price).

Next again was time for some fun for the little ones, and while they enjoyed their time in the rides - multiple times over since there was no restriction - we had fun beating the heat with all the ice lollies and slush drinks, which was priced without a premium.

The 'Twister Mountain' and Bumper Cars were fun too.. each attracting a decent queue compared to other rides, but just long enough not to make it an endless wait.

The epic ride at Hili Fun City is the 'Sky Flyer' which takes you up into the sky and turns you upside down and on to the other side.. good part about this is there is hardly any queue cos this ride ain't for the faint hearted! So beware, you are warned before you ride this one!

They have an amphitheater there too, which does musicals as per published schedule.

We ended up our trip with a ride on the motorized train (which I hear is a local fav) and than a ride on the Thunderbolt, a covered speed & twist rider which will leave you dizzy for sure.

The place is pretty clean and well maintained, and the marshals are just about nice.. nothing pleasant, but nothing rude either! They are ofcourse very strict with the height restrictions, so no use arguing with them if you little one doesn't qualify for one of the rides you think is just the right one for them.

Overall.. a good place for people with kids. For couples only, or grown up kids.. well.. its worth the trip if you have nothing really WOW to go for.

Recommended to go between Nov-Apr, when the weather is pleasant. Avoid during the summers, or else head there around after 5pm, so the sun doesn't get the better of you.
