It's a small zoo but really nice. Take the train. Bring lunch and have a nice picnic. Large enclosures and a new education center that's difficult to get into. It's constantly up grading so worth a revisit. Totally worth it.

One of the best zoos, if not the best in the middle east. Animals are well taken-care off, staff helpful, and amazing landscape, with lots of picnic areas too. They have just opened the new entrance which is really amazing and the new attraction is...More

We took our grandparents and they loved it. The falcon show was the highlight of the excursion. All the animals were well looked after and healthy. Good variety of animals. Take the train for a relaxing tour.

This zoo is an excellent family destination to see wildlife in an authentic setting. Wide open spaces make having a picnic extremely enjoyable.

Yes, one full day is needed to enjoy the zoo and safari (relax pace, no rushing) Outside food is allowed, but you can also buy food inside. The zoo opens at 9:00am and closes at 8:00pm.
