- WHRobinsonDubai, United Arab Emirates52 contributionsBest value for moneyThis is one of my absolute favorite golf courses in the UAE. It provides such a different experience from the big name courses and is worth the extra drive from Dubai (just 30 mins from Downtown). The main clubhouse is still under construction but its temporary home is a striking building with wonderful views of the mangrove swamp, especially at sunset. There are two restaurants to chose from for a bite before or after your game. The staff are really professional and helpful. Shower facilities are very comfortable and clean with all the perks I’ve come to expect in the UAE like hand lotion, hair dryer, deodorant and sunscreen. The driving range and first tee are currently a 5 min cart ride from the club house. The carts are complimentary and obligatory- this is not a walking course, especially in the warmer months! The long wooden cart way raised over the tidal inlet is a treat - look out for a variety of wading birds. The course hugs the mangroves and shoreline so it looks completely different depending on the tide. The mangroves and water make the roughs ball eaters so make sure to carry plenty! The fairways and greens are always immaculate. I love how undulating the fairways are - it feels like a links course. The best part about this course is how reasonably priced it is to play. By far the best value for money in the UAE.Visited September 2019Traveled with friendsWritten January 3, 2020
- C588Dubai, United Arab Emirates214 contributionsSuper golf courseThe place could potentially get a five star rating once the new club house is done. The course is in very good condition. Even playing on a very wet weekend the course held up well and apart from a couple of puddles on the 4th fairway it was entirely playable. The setting in the mangrove makes this a special experience. For the first time we played with high tide thus all water areas actually wet - and it looks better this way. The course is not silly long and actually makes for an enjoyable round for the not so long hitters as well. Good deals for 2 players also on weekends - well worth the drive from Dubai.Visited January 2020Traveled as a coupleWritten January 26, 2020
- ReplaceDogWithCar39 contributionsBest condition course in the UAEI've said it is the best condition course in the UAE and that's saying something. I've played all of the good ones now and this is far and away the best in terms of pure condition. The fariways and tees were immaculate while the greens rolled beautifully. I'd personally like the greens a bit faster but that isn't to everyone's taste so it's understandable. Design is really good. Maybe not quite as good as something like Earth or Majlis but still fantastic. But the conditioning really sets it apart. Also, it's empty, so pick your tee time well and you can play as slowly or quickly as you like. I played on my own and comfortably got round in 2 hours. Only negative is that the clubhouse is about to be constructed so it's a 10 minute buggy from the current clubhouse to the 1st tee and driving range. But that will change in 18 months time and I then believe this will easily be in the top 5 clubs in the UAEVisited April 2022Written April 15, 2022
- Pio AAbu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates20 contributionsFantastic, nature and golf can’t beat it!Al Zorah Golf Club course is one of the best courses I’ve played around in the UAE. It may not be as glamorous as Dubai courses or resort course. This course has a natural feel about it. It’s cut out of the mangroves reserve with bridges connecting you to the fairways but it’s natural wildlife is amazing. Birds such as flamingos and clear water ponds with live fish swimming around your feet gives you a feel of nature and open air. To be honest, you wouldn’t think you’re in UAE. A course for all levels of ability too. I play on a 1.78 handicap and my friend is a 24 handicap and we had a blast! Great courseVisited December 2021Traveled with friendsWritten January 3, 2022
- NICHOLAS TDubai, United Arab Emirates5,778 contributionsExcellent golf course - good valueThis is a lovely golf course, well worth the drive from Dubai. The course is built into the mangroves and there is a significant amount of bird life, including flamingoes. The mangrove areas are tidal so holes can change from bring over sand to being over water depending on the time of day. It is a fair course - not too long and quite forgiving off a number of tees. The course is in excellent condition. There is a nice grass driving range and cool clubhouse overlooking the mangroves. Refresher carts circulate around the course selling soft and alcoholic beverages but there is only one fixed refreshment hut, on the 15th hole. At 270 dirhams, it’s very good value.Visited October 2020Traveled with friendsWritten October 10, 2020
- guptapramod123Dubai, United Arab Emirates92 contributionsExcellent CourseBeing a resident of Dubai, am fortunate enough to get plenty of opportunities to play Golf at the Al Zorah, Ajmam. Eventhough it s a good 45 min drive from Dubai, its a pleasure to play at Al Zorah for many reasons. The Course is always kept in mint condition. The staff is very pro-active and friendly. Always available for any assistance. The staff ensures that one enjoys a good game at the Al Zorah. And ofcourse the credit goes to Mr.Sam, the Manager of the Golf Club. He is an amazing young man with a lot of positive and friendly attitude. Always available to all guests playing at the Al Zorah. Rarely one will experience this kind of reception and support from the Manager and the Staff of the Golf Course anywhere else. Infact, I can confidently say that never I have seen any of the Managers of the Golf Clubs in Dubai reach out to players on the Course. If you are in UAE and if your are passionate about Golf and then reward yourself by playing at Al Zorah.Visited March 2020Written March 15, 2020
- Ben R1 contributionVery, very slow course with rude course managersGolf course is in really nice condition however the pace of play is terrible. On multiple holes you can find 4 or 5 groups all waiting to play. Marshall’s are not there to help speed up the play. When we asked for the manager to come, he came with a stinking attitude with no intention to help; probably the rudest manager I’ve encountered. Real shame because the course is lovely. Won’t be coming back.Visited April 2023Traveled with friendsWritten April 28, 2023

- KevinScotland, United Kingdom1 contributionAmazing Al ZorahJust back from a week's golf holiday in the region. Have played the course in the past and always rated it highly. This year I'd go as far as to say it's one of the best courses in the Emirates. I don't think many people know about it but they should do! Amazing course with numerous holes which are both beautiful and a great test. We were well looked after by staff members Vino and Ashok. 10 out of 10.Visited March 2022Written March 26, 2022

The fairways are perfect and the greens are fast. Just one thing I have to mention, the bathroom facilities need to be maintained and keep an eye on them. Unfortunately no club house at the moment. But according to the management it should come some day.Visited November 2020Traveled as a coupleWritten November 26, 2020

Alzorah is a great golfcourse in the middle of a natural reserve with hundreds of birds to see. The course is quite new and in perfect conditions. We have rearely (or rather never) had perfect greens like these. Also it is a fair course still a bit tricky but never lets you down. We played in Feb. at great weather. Not too cold, not too warm.
The crew is fabulously friendly and helpful all the time.
As the actual setup of the club-house is only temporary, you have to take a buggy as every round is 15 km long - so really hard to walk.
Actually, the club-house is quite strange and everyone is hoping that constructions for the planned final clubhouse starts soon. It could become great.

how much is a round of golf with clubs, buggy hire green fee. is it cheaper to do a twilight round for 18 holes. can you pre book looking to play beginning of October. will be staying at ajman saray hotel.

Hi Michelle,
Green fee rates in the winter season are between 100-120£ depending on the time of play. Twilight rates are usually cheaper compared to normal gf price. They have online booking calendar and you can book your tee time already for October. GF includes a buggy. Club hire is 40£.
I suggest you to contact your hotel because they might have special gf prices for their residents.
