Dear team, the plan to have such adventure is awesome. But it really is not high developed by you yet. We have spent around 200USD for this tour and we really were expecting the service and interesting program. So far , you still need to have your own car because the location of kayaking is not the same as the registration/cashier point. So you need to move twice to start the tour. The briefing with the guide was short and explained by hands. I believe you need to seat on kayak first and then to show the participants the way how to drive the boat and use the paddles. It was also explained by guide that to see the birds we need to walk but only 5 minutes and not through the water. We went with kayak first and we walked but through the water as well. The shoes became completely wet. It was not explained this way. So sad. And the main minus from all this trip, they telling you would see more that 100 types of birds and a lot of different fishes but in the end you see almost nothing! You can walk next to mongroves park from the street side and you would definitely see the same birds. Once again. This adventure does not cost the amount they ask for at all!!! I hope the team with improve the service once, otherwise its just unfair deal.

This was an excellent way to start the day. After meeting at the Marina at Al Zorah in Ajman and being kitted out with life jackets, we drive a short way around the development to park up before walking across the golf course to the launch point. The kayaks were large and had easily enough room for two adults and a child. The route took us through water channels between the mangroves and we saw a number of birds along the way, including herons and flamingos, which were the highlight. It was a rare spot in the UAE with no construction or road noise - just nature. The water was calm and the activity suitable for all abilities. The guides were always close by and provided interesting information on the area at various rest points. For 175 dirhams per person I thought it was good value for money.

We had an amazing time kayaking with Quest for Adventure. Its a great idea to ask everyone to arrive 30 minutes before booking, it gives plenty of time to get forms filled in, pay and get fitted with life jackets. The place is very clean and they sanitize all equipment between uses. The ladies in the office where extremely helpful when booking and answered all my questions. The short walk across the golf course is beautiful. The guides explain to everyone how to paddle and some quick tips before heading on to the water. They use both double and triple kayaks which only made the experience more fun and much easier. The guides are full of plenty of knowledge on both the trees and the wildlife living there. We called ahead to check on which time out be best - Holly explained that it is tidal and that both a high and low tide tour are great in different ways. High tide give your more of a change of spotting the flamingos (but they are wild so obviously they cannot guarantee that we will see them) and a low tide tours are better for seeing a wide range of birds. We opted for a low tide tour and we defiantly saw plenty of the birds. Egrets, Herons, Opsrey, along with plenty of others even kingfishers! We where blown away by the beauty of the forest and you can really tell all of the team are extremely passionate about the mangroves. You really wont believe it until you see it yourselves. Amazing team and beautiful wildlife - Well worth the visit!!

Beautiful place but I'm giving it a one star rating because I discovered too late that you should always ask about the tide. If the tide is too low, they will take you for a 40 min boring kayak ride toward the sea and back, and they will not warn you that you won't get to see the flamigos or really go into the channel. No rescheduling, no offer for a refund, no nothing either. And there's no way they don't actually know the tide is too low to make the trip to the flamingo area impossible, there were tour guides in the water by the time we got there and until we we were in the water nobody mentioned that the route had changed. So before you end up wasting your time and money, make sure you ask about the tide. The tour guide told me this but of course it was a tip given too late after the long drive and money spent.

Hi Safak, I am so glad you found the Nature Reserve as beautiful as we do! I am sorry though that you didn't enjoy your experience as much as we would have hoped. Unfortunately, the flamingos are wild animals therefore we never guarantee that you will see them as we cannot ensure that you will. As a kayaking company we are at the mercy of the tide which changes by 45 minutes everyday and reaches a high or low tide every 6 hours, because of this some of our tours are done on a high tide some on a medium and some on a low tide as we are unable to control this. We are always able to recommend the best date or time to enjoy your tour on a tide which best suits you if you contact us before hand to let us know what your priorities are. Unfortunately though if you don't contact us and simply book the tour or don't let us know what you are hoping to experience then we cannot help you select the best tour for you. We get a large portion of our guests who desire to come on a low tide specifically due to the far larger number of birds that you will see. We have 58 species of bird which reside within the nature reserve and the Flamingos are one of only a couple of these which prefer a high tide, this is why we would never want to dissuade someone from booking a low tide tour as we would be depriving them of the opportunity to see the most that the wildlife has to offer which, to name but a few, include Incredible Egrets, Herons and Cormorants as well as the beautiful Kingfisher's and even some of our birds of prey such as Osprey's (Sea Eagles) who are more active on a low tide catching fish. Our Guides will give you the best tour based on the elements at the time you are there, all of the routes are beautiful and have you in-between the trees experiencing an ancient natural forest ecosystem. I hope you enjoyed the parts of the tour where the Guide stopped and discussed how the Mangroves are helping with climate control and oxygen for the planet. Next time when you book with us please message us and we will be happy to recommend the best tide and time to meet with your desires. Perhaps you might choose to book one of our tours which includes planting new trees which will allow you to directly contribute to the preservation of this as you remarked beautiful place. I look forward to welcoming you back in the future and and I hope you have a lovely rest of your day
