At night this bridge is lit up and looks beautiful. It's wonderful to watch as parents pull their babies and children around in the snow on wooden sleds and on end of the bridge you can find the most delicious hot cherry wine being sold.
This is the main bridge of Uzhorod, on the other side is the new city, builded around 1900 and during the interwar period (during the Czechoslovak regime), with nice architecture, shops, terrasses, ice cream :) Nice walk!
When I see pictures of this bridge it reminds me of a friend I call my little sister. I call her my little sister because we share the same birthday. I wasn't there in 2015 but many times while living in Ukraine. I love Uzhhord...More
