I enjoy visiting old castle ruins. Uzhhorod Castle is not that type of attraction. The walls are seen from above the city of Uzhhorod, but inside the castle walls which has been completely refurbishes are current exhibits of old documents and paintings. The only room...More

Lots to see here, most interesting is the collection of swords, rifles, and the interwar period. Nice views of the town as well. The museum in the dungeon area (15 UAH extra) is not for kids...

Must see if you spend some days in this location, credit cards not admitted, UA45 per person, students and seniors cheaper price. The wall you can visit is very reduced. Different floor exhibitions about history, customs, music, outfits, weapons and chambers.

It is very good sign medieval architecture. You can know a lot about history Uzhhorod. There is wonderful museum about nature, history and other Zakarpats'ka Ukraine.

We got to the castle almost before sunset. Surprisingly we were allowed to enter the castle and stroll around to observe. Mince place to walk around.
