Delightful shopping

The heart of downtown is full of shops to explore. Realize that some shops have several sections behind the main room. I found a wonderful jewelry store tucked behind a dress shop. English is not spoken everywhere so arm yourself with basic Ukrainian words. I found the shop keepers to be very honest.

Korzo street is the heartbeat of Uzhgorod. A hub of cafes, coffee shops and retail markets. Reminds me of Vienna, beautiful architecture and charming places to relax over coffee or leisurely meals. Just a beautiful example of what is charming about life in Europe.

Nice walking street in the city center

The street is relatively short and lined with souvenir shops, restaurants and pubs. It is leads to(from) the beautiful square, called Theatre square and pedastrian bridge over the river Uzh.

Good to have a walk

Uzhgorod looks completely different from mostly Ukrainian cities and when you walking down Korzo Str you feel yourself like you are somewhere in Central Europe.

Lovely downtown

This is the place to be in Uzhhorod with lots of shops, restaurants and bars.

There are also some statues that it is nice to take photos together.

Just another pedestrianised shopping area

There was not much to interest me here, just the normal selection of cafes and shops. It does have a couple of interesting features such as the Lamplighter Monument and a restaurant with a very interesting large globe outside. It's nothing special but if you are into shopping it is OK.

It's a nice street in Uzhhorod, with many restaurants and stores. We liked to go along the street to admire the shop windows!
