My Husband and I with our two sons visited Uganda in August and we’ve never had such an amazing travel experience like we had while in Uganda. We booked our safari to Uganda as a last minute no brainer as we were slated for traveling to Kenya instead but my love for primates made us change our minds at the last minute. Our friend Sean from Texas who had been here recommended to book using a locally operated Destination Management Company and there were so many options but we chose Sail Adventures Uganda because of their approach towards wildlife conservation, the environment and sustainable travel. We wanted to support a company that was working directly by the locals to make sure that at least we would splurge on something that would help the locals. Our journey started in Entebbe where we were met by our travel consultant Sahin Nulu and our Safari Guide Dan. The two were very jolly and we knew we were in the right hands from the word go. We transferred to our hotel for relaxation from where we started our trip the next day heading to Murchison Falls National Park for 2nights. With game drives and the launch cruises to the bottom and top of the falls this vast protected area is unique. We got to see the Nile crocodiles and giraffes among many other animals. We visited Kibale for chimp trekking and then to Queen Elizabeth national Park for game viewing opportunities and the tree climbing lions of ishasha were something else. Finally on our 8th day we headed to Bwindi for Gorilla trekking. We stayed at Buhoma Lodge which happens to be one of the only two lodges inside the Bwindi impenetrable national park and 3-5mins walk from the visitor center where we began the trek the following day. After 2hrs of trekking, we marveled at the world’s remaining mountain gorillas of Bwindi. Such a lifetime experience, there is no better animal encounter for sure. We can’t recommend Sail Adventures Uganda safaris enough for executing this trip of a lifetime for us and a great shout out to Sahin our consultant who was in touch with us on a daily while on our trip making sure we were under great care and Dan The Man did an incredible job, with his vast knowledge we could see Uganda through his eyes.

Visiting Uganda was not on my bucket list until I met a friend who had visited this beautiful nation that lies in the East of Africa in 2019. Having shown me the pictures of her and her friends enjoying the beauty of the lush green forests in Uganda's Bwindi Impenetrable forest.

For long I had wanted to get to see mountain gorillas in their natural habitats, inspired by a movie called Gorillas in the Mist capturing the journey of Dian Fossey conserving these endangered apes. After seeing all the pictures that Jessica showed me I immediately started thinking of how I would get to travel to Uganda.

Jessica Recommended Sail Adventures the company that she had booked her trip to Uganda with for my journey.
I emailed them and in a couple of hours on a Monday afternoon, they had gotten in touch. A lady called Faith who I sadly didn't meet on my arrival to Uganda was very helpful in all the planning of my Uganda trip.

With her knowledge of finding the best deals, she advised that the best months for me to travel to Uganda was from June-Dec. So I decided that I would travel to Uganda in September 2020. She gave me all the necessary details and so I booked my trip.

Not many days had passed when the world was struck by a global pandemic, I was afraid that I would lose my money and don't get to travel to Uganda and rightly so covid had destroyed all the plans with countries shutting their boarders on tourists and passenger flights there's no way I was gonna be able to make it happen.

I got in touch with Faith and she told me more about their cancellation policies and advised that instead of cancelling my trip I would rescheduled it to 2021 and without hesitation her suggestion is what we went forward with.
I had to pray and keep fingers crossed so the situation would ease and allow me travel to Uganda for my Gorilla tracking adventure.

When restrictions were eased, I followed every detail closely and in September of last year, I was able to make mu trip to Uganda and what a trip this was!!

Beyond my expectations, this was a lifetime adventure and I can't thank Sail Adventures Uganda enough for their great work from planning and executing my travel plan to Uganda I couldn't believe what I was getting to see on every corridor that we traversed in Uganda.

My time was the gorillas was the highlight of my trip, they aren't just our relatives, once you visit gorillas you realize how majestic, humbling and magical these creatures are.

The silverback male leader of the family was very calm with us and gave us encouraging looks as if to say, take your snaps and leave my territory huh.

All the lodges that we stayed at were very very good, delicious foods, well laid tables and the people. Ugandan people have a huge place in my heart, no better place is like the Pearl of Africa, smiles everywhere and very welcoming.

Thank you Sail Adventures Uganda for this lifetime trip and a Special thank you to my Guide Sahin and my personal travel consultant "Faith" for the great humor, kindness and professionalism shown throughout my Uganda trip.

I can't recommend you guys any better. God bless you!!

Dear Barbara, We would love to thank you for this great review, we are more than delighted. For many travelers rarely have Uganda top of their bucket-lists but after taking on this beautiful nation, every traveler is often fascinated about the beauty of the landscapes, the ever grinning people, the climate, the nature and the untamed life that this country holds. Such an honor to have organized and executed your trip to Uganda. Please recommend us to all your friends with the same dream of one day being in Africa and above all be in the presence of the Mountain Gorillas. Thank you again

Sail Adventures Uganda Safaris handled our 10days trip to Uganda and from start to finish they did a very great job. Sahin our travel consultant helped us plan our trip.

He had great suggestions for what we were to incorporate in our itinerary for the best experience and he was incredibly patient as we changed the schedule and places of accommodation as well as adding destinations a couple of times. We traveled through Uganda visiting Bwindi for Mountain gorilla trekking and there we visited the Indigenous Batwa people after our trekking activity as well as trekking to the waterfalls, went to Queen Elizabeth to see tree climbing lions, elephants, buffaloes, leopards, etc ; Kibale Forest National park for Chimpanzees and Murchison falls National park for game viewing, here we saw herds of buffaloes, impalas, elands, Elephants, lions, warthogs, Nile crocodiles, and water bucks and several water bird species.

Our guide Dan was so informed and he seems to know everyone in Uganda for he knew someone at least in every spot we stopped. Very funny and was always jolly cracking jokes every time. We will be recommending Sail Adventures Uganda to all our friends and family who want to travel to Uganda/Africa for a Safari. The people in Uganda are very welcoming and warm hearted, everyone wherever we went was smiling. Thanks Sail Adventures Uganda for planning and executing our honeymoon Safari.

In July last year, I forego my job to start a nomad life and become a content creator. My favorite place to visit so far has been Africa. In August I went on an African Safari adventure leading a group of 5 travelling with Sail Adventures Uganda Safaris. Seeing all those animals up close was just incredible. The guides were so knowledgeable and made sure we got the most out of our trip. If you're looking for something new and exciting then I'd highly recommend going on one of these trips! And with this company. A very young and passionate team very flexible and willing to accommodate every request that you will have. Clean and Neat safari jeeps throughout our 12days Safari. From Gorilla trekking to Sailing on the Nile river in Murchison Falls everything was perfectly arranged and my expectations were met and beyond.

Don't wait, book your safari today and just go! You'll never regret that decision.

From the very start of my enquiry with Sail Adventures Uganda, I received complete professionalism in communication and organisation. Faith Komugisha and Sahin Nulu were extremely helpful and ensured I was informed of every element of my planned trip. We changed our itinerary twice before deciding and this was no trouble at all. Their only concern was to provide the best trip suited to our needs and budget. Once we arrived in Entebbe we had a very warm welcome from the team and were introduced to our guide Dennis. We hit it off straight away and started our road trip for an adventure. All the accommodation reserved was of very high standard. The team kept in touch on a daily basis to ensure the trip was meeting our expectations. I felt very looked after and safe. I would even encourage solo travellers to book with Sail Adventures as you are guided every step of the way. Our guide Dennis was very knowledgeable and provided stop offs on the way so we could explore the real Uganda and it’s warm people. The gorilla, chimpanzee tracking and game drives were amazing but also the stops off to visit local communities really made the trip special. The food we had was unrivalled and I have travelled extensively. I can’t thank Sail Adventures enough for giving us a truly memorable trip of a lifetime.

We organized our gorilla trekking with Sail Adventures and it was perfect. Everything was planned in advance and it went smoothly from the moment we arrived in Bwindi.

The guide from the company took the time to see us before the day of trekking in order to make sure we had every information to enjoy this incredible moment, and he answered all of our questions.

The gorilla trekking is, for sure, an activity everyone should live once in his life. And to be sure that it's well organized I recommend Sail Adventure 100% !

I wanted to give myself an unforgettable retreat and couldn’t think about a better place than the beautiful Ugandan rainforest. They arranged everything for me, as I was going solo, I rather have everything ready. And they definitely went above and beyond. It was a short 8 days trip, but I managed to explore such beautiful gems. Staff were amazing, since the first contact and then when I finally met them upon my arrival at Entebbe airport, Sahil was my travel specialist and together with Mr Denise, they were just 2 wonderful souls that made my trip, definitely the best one I have ever done. The pictures will speak from themselves.

Just returned from an 8 Days honeymoon safari to Tanzania visiting Tarangire, Ngorongoro & Serengeti. despite the rains we still had a great safari and I think it all added to the experience and of course best price guarantee as November is considered low season by many agencies. Our first stop was at Gran Melia Arusha for an overnight stay as we prepared for our next days' adventures. we were welcomed by the team and assisted through the immigration before embarking on our scenic transfer from JRO to Arusha. Next we headed to Tarangire, what can I Say about the Elephants here, right at the park entrance we were already in awe. We stayed at Lemala moping Ridge Lodge part of the Lemala Collection and buoy this was beyond imagination. The bush dinner was out of this world. Next on we headed to ngorongoro the eden on earth and rightly so as you descend the crater you feel nature come to life. Our last stop was in Serengeti and we stayed at Lemala Nanyukie for the remainder three nights. Right in the middle of the great migration paths, the lodge is perfectly situated and it has to be the best place for honeymooners! each suite comes with a private plunge pool and the daily bush breakfasts add a whole level to the experience.

Our highlight of the trip has to be the Balloon safari in the Serengeti, this is an experience like no other and i can't recommend it enough. We can't recommend Sail Adventure Safaris enough for their perfect safari planning and execution and our consultant Nulu was in constant contact with us throughout our journey and we couldn't have asked for anyone better. When you get in touch be sure to ask for him and as for the guides they were all amazing though different in each destination!

Tip your guides well when you go, they are a cornerstone of your successful Safari .
