I chose Eco Adventures Safari for a 2-week circuit for a group of 12 people in Rwanda and Uganda. Everything was perfectly organized by them. Patrick organized our circuit in the smallest detail. The drivers Charles and Elias, very attentive to details, patient and the information provided by them was very useful.
Next year I want to return to Uganda and I will also collaborate with them.
Thank you for all the help during the 2 weeks we spent together.

We were in Uganda to celebrate my mother's 80th birthday and to see gorillas, a lifelong dream of hers. Patrick was fantastic and helped to create an itinerary for us that included chimp, golden monkey and gorilla trekking, as well as time spent in Queen Elizabeth National Park. Uganda is incredibly beautiful and the people are so warm and friendly, and Eco adventures organized and facilitated our trip in a wonderful way. Patrick was extremely responsive and communicative and handled special things such as organizing a cake for mom on her birthday, and assuring that there were vegetarian options for my brother. When we had a last minute itinerary change request he handled it for us, no problem. Our driver Hannington was very sweet. We had many, many hours in the safari vehicle on dirt roads and he did a great job of getting us from place to place safely. I would definitely recommend a trip to Uganda with this company!

We Just finished an amazing tour with eco Adventures. They were extremely accommodating to our budget and worked with us to create a very inclusive package trip to Murchison falls. Patrick was on the ball with communication, quick to respond with every message when setting up our trip. Elias our guide/ driver was a hidden gem, having an education in wildlife as well as having gone to school with a vast majority of the Rangers in the park, he went out of his way far and beyond to make sure we had the best animal experience. We saw leopards and lions everyday of the trip! Not only did he provide the “insiders” experience (from what we could tell, no other game vehicle got to the action as quickly as we did) but he also had a great knowledge of local plant medicines and was very helpful obliging our needs..which made the trip EXTRA fun! Constantly pointing out animals and nature unique to the area, we got a wealth of education. 11/10 would tour with Eco Adventures again
PS. Their land cruiser has been the most comfortable out of all game rigs we have been in. And we have been in a lot.

There are a myriad of companies that offer the same thing. It should be noted that you are only paying the company for transportation and that the actual trekking is done with the park rangers. Also, a park ranger told me that the booking for the permit can be done through the park, so you can avoid booking fees with the company. Eco Adventures charged me more for a one day trek than it costs for a three days two nights trek. They were also not on time for pickup and they did not provide breakfast, but instead told me that it would have been better if my hotel packed me breakfast. In the future I will just book the permit with the park and pay a fair price for transportation. Nice people, but I felt scammed after my trip. You should save your money.

Many thanks for submitting the review about your one day Gorilla Tour in Bwindi which started and ended in Kigali, we were so glad that you chose to do this tour with us, first and foremost we apologize for the few issues that came up during this short notice 1 Day Gorilla Tour especially the late coming for the pickup and failure to provide breakfast.
About the note that you are only paying the company for transportation and that the actual trekking is done with the park rangers;
The truth is Gorilla trekking is mainly done by the Park rangers not by the driver guides who drive you to the park and everyone knows about this, I as well explained this to you during our WhatsApp conversation while planning for you this trip. Basically for this one-day trip you only pay for Transportation which includes (driver guide allowance, fuel, cross-border insurance, and car hire) as well as pay for the gorilla permit which we did provide accordingly and we made sure you made it to the trek in time and you had a great and successful trek.
What the Park rangers told you is a lie, All gorilla permits are secured in advance from the Uganda Wildlife Headquarters, and all gorilla permits can only now be secured through a fully registered Tour Operator which we did and you did trek the gorillas successfully. Booking these permits only through a tour operator it is not free of charge you pay for a small service.
As you have noted above that there are a myriad of companies that offer the same thing, this means we did not charge you a price out of the range that those other same companies had offered you this is the reason you chose to book with us. If we had charged you a big or scammy price am sure you would have noticed this and chosen another company because you were in touch with these other companies as well.
We did our best for you to see the gorillas on short notice and in one day, which we were happy about and you had a successful trek which is always the aim of any traveler visiting the gorillas.
We are so glad and we apologize for the few issues that raised

This trip was extraordinary. Uganda itself is amazing but Eco Adventure Safaris makes it even more cool. They got your back while you explore this incridle territory in Africa.
The booking process was quick and smooth and we got all the information we needed to move fast through vis, vaccination and covid entry requirements to Uganda.
The lodges chosen on our trip were on budget side with basic comfort however the provided service was super great. All in one, we highly recommend this agency.

We did a 2-day return trip from Kigali to Bwindi to see the beautiful mountain gorillas in Uganda. We had some flight delays and Patrick was extremely responsive and amazing working around our delays. Godfrey was our guide, and he was amazing. He is very calm, knowledgeable, and fun. Although our trip to Rwanda and Uganda was quick, we feel like we had a good "taste" of these countries and it has left us wanting to return soon. The Gorilla trek was an experience of a lifetime and we found the people of these countries were lovely, warm and kind. So thrilled we fit in this excursion on our way to South Africa from Canada. There was some concern about safety when booking but safety never once crossed our minds once we arrived. Please don't ever hesitate to book with Eco Adventure Safaris. Food, accommodation and experience were all a 10/10, they go above and beyond and the value was exceptional.

Easily a trip at the top of my list for an amazing adventure! Hanging out with the the Silverback Gorillas in Uganda was an experience of a lifetime! Eco Adventure Safaris knows how to do it right! From the very start with communication, Patrick was always available even with the time difference between Uganda and the USA. The genuine hospitality offered by our guide, Godfrey, was exemplary! From the moment he picked me up and dropped me off (5 days), he was gracious, professional and full of information about the culture, the Gorilla Trek, the community and local factoids. It was their desire to make this Gorilla Trek perfect in every way and a lasting memory. Oh, and it was my birthday! The decorations, the cake and singing probably topped any celebration I have ever had! Many thanks for that!

What a professional and reliable service! Our agent Patrick has made the whole process of booking and organising our 4 day safari trip in Uganda so effortless. He was always available for any questions we had and believe me they were many so. Together we put together a perfect itinerary that suited our budget and wishes including organising gorilla permits in Bwindi National Park, lion tracking in Queen Elizabeth Park, crate lakes drive, beautiful accommodation along the way and always running the extra mile. Compliments to our guide and driver Onesmus who made the whole trip so memorable and made sure we arrived safely to every destination. A 5* experience and the best value for money!

Amazing experience.
Alex took care of us and made sure we had a great time and we were safe all the time.
For example we wanted to go to the market in Kampala and he drove us there despite the traffic jam and got us a guide so we could be safe in there.
I’d totally recommend.

Incredible service throughout planning and during the trip. Very responsive. High quality excursions. Superior driver and luxury vehicle. My most memorable moment is staying at Lake Bunyonyi - Patrick's attention to detail was amazing, he booked me the best room for a view of the serene lake.
P.s. I am a solo female traveler and felt safe and secure with Eco Adventures Safaris across the 2 weeks that I traveled all corners of Uganda
