This was my fourth trip to Africa, and Uganda was my eight country visited. I can state without hesitation that the itinerary, activities, lodgings, food, and especially guides were second to none. Pamoja certainly knew their clients wishes when they devised the itinerary, and each location always delivered maximum sites and excitement. Fred, our guide and driver was probably the best I've had. His driving skills alone were amazing. In addition, the price point was also the best. We spent a great deal of time reading thru many, if not all Uganda tour companies literature and Pamoja certainly was the best with cost and value optimization. I, without hesitation strongly recommend choosing Pamoja for any African adventure you may be planning.

We had a great time on our 4-day safari in the Murchison National Park.
My personal Highlight was the Rhino Sanctuary, but the Game Drives and the Chimpanzee tracking were great as well!
What I liked a lot about the company was their transparency about the individual prices (of the entrance, guide, car, fuel...) and that you could put together/change your itinerary to your liking!
The head of the company Charles did good work in organising everything and changing the itinerary.
Also our request for cheaper accommodations he considered in his planning very well.
When we didn't use one of our park entrances, we had to point it out to Charles ourselves, but then he took care of it and we got our money back.
All in all a great experience!

Thank you Charles/Pamoja Safaris for accommodating my last minute request to travel to Western Uganda with my family. Tom (our tour guide/driver) was very knowledgeable and a very good animal spotter. He even stopped during the road trips so we can take pictures! The boat ride along Lake Buyonyi was such an amazing experience and the view was breathtaking. We also visited Fort Portal and hiked the Amabere ganyina Miru Cave and hill. To end the trip, we visited Semiliki National Park where we got to relax and enjoy the hot springs. We really enjoyed seeing the beautiful sights and views of Western Uganda. The only improvement I would suggest is having better meal options next time around as we found the meal options included in the itinerary were very limited. Overall, the trip was amazing and I couldn’t thank Pamoja Safaris/Charles/Tom enough for making it happen. We will definitely use them again for future safari trips

After researching several different tour companies, I decided on Pamoja Safaris and am so happy that I made the right decision! I cannot say enough about how easy it was to work with Charles in planing a tailor made itinerary for the 12 days my friend and I spent exploring Uganda. Charles was the perfect guide. He is very personable as well as an excellent driver and problem solver. (When our luggage didn't arrive in Kigali as planned, he worked with the airlines and the airport in Kigali to locate and return it to us. The lodges were all wonderful, but when one of them assigned us to a room we did not like, he worked with the owners to give us one that exceeded our expectations.)
Charles is extremely knowledgeable about his beloved country, its history, its people and its wildlife. Not only was he an absolute pleasure to be with, he was able to spot (from a distance!) animals that other tours missed. He also arranged for us to spend 4 hours with the gorillas of Bwindi instead of the usual 1 hour. This "habituation experience" was amazing and I highly recommend it.
Every day was a new and unique experience. We tracked Golden Monkeys in Volcanoes National Park, Gorillas in Bwindi, Chimpanzees in Kibale. The game drives and cruises on the nNile were fantastic! Charles knew exactly were to take us to view lions, leopards, elephants, giraffes, baboons, hippos various antelope and so much more. We also were able to track rare Rhinos in the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary.
Another unique advantage to traveling with Charles is that he took us to
the Mubaku Community where he grew up to meet its people, visit its school and learn about the life of people in rural Uganda. This experience was very special and not available with other tour companies.
The 12 days spent with Charles surpassed my expectations by far! I highly recommend choosing Pamoja Safaris!!

We did a full custom 12 day Safari organized with Pamoja Safaris. Charles took care of us from the moment we landed In Kigali (Rwanda) until we left From Entebbe (Uganda). Amazing trip, Charles was a great driver and guide. Always spotting the animals, ready every morning to get on the game drives early and a super safe driver getting us from one park to the next. We visited Akagera NP, Lake Bunyonyi, Bwindi Impenetrable forest and Ishasha/Queen elizabeth national park. The car was super, and our 2 year old son loved it.

I booked a last minute 5 day trip with Pamoja Safaris/Charles, whilst staying in Kigali in Feb 2020. Charles clearly explained what was possible in this time and created a bespoke tour of Rwanda and Uganda that took in all the things I wanted to see along with many other great suggestions (Safari/Chipmanzee trekking). Charles knowledge of both countries, was fantastic and his advice made for an authentic and varied trip. His organisation of the trip was first class, all I had to do was enjoy the sights. Highly recommended and will use again if I get the chance. Thank you!

We have had over 40 different Safari guides over all our trips to Africa and Charles is the best.
Charles has an ability to spot animals that is amazing.
He set up a 27 day itinerary to Rwanda, Uganda, Kenya and Tanzania. All the lodges were excellent with excellent food, service and accommodations.
Spending time with Charles is enjoyable. He is knowledgeable about the animals and the parks. He partners with great companies in Kenya and Tanzania that ensure a delightful trip.
He is easy to work with and set up a customized tour for us.
The most impressive thing about Charles is his heart for the education of children. He uses the profits and tips to fund the education of children in his native village of Mubaku. He founded Mubaku School, which is bringing hope of a better future to an entire community.
This was our third time with Pamoja Safari and it will not the last.

I had a 10 days trip to Murchison falls with my family organised by pamoja safaris.The customer experience was awesome starting from day one of the trip, the itenary was very friendly and flexible we had several stop overs as we en routed to Murchison falls and this made trip very memorable. The guide was very friendly and professional and to make the trip more interesting everything was organised in timely manner. The most unforgettable experience was the stop over that we had at the ziwa rhino sanctuary, the encounter we had with the rhinos at ziwa was the best experience. Travelling with pamoja safaris was not a regret it was such a memorable experience that we would wish to have over and over again

Charles and Sebby are the most wonderful guides. Not only do they provide once in a lifetime experiences, they also stress the importance of community and conservation. They are friendly, personable and knowledgeable. Through their expertise, we saw a variety of rare animals as well as connected with the people and culture throughout Rwanda and Uganda. Their passion to help others through tourism and the love of their country is inspiring. Pamoja Safaris is quite unique and definitely worth the trip.

We had a great time on the Safari besides some small issues with came up.
Our wishes with cheap accommodations were fulfilled. The chimpanzee and rhino trekking was really impressive. Fred, our guide, was very friendly und fulfilled all our wishes.
All in all, the prices of the Safari were very transparent.
We are very pleased with the Safari and would recommend Pamoja Safaris.
