You can take a boat trip from Akyaka or Marmaris to get Cleopatra Island and generaly the tour includes Akbuk Bay and Dark Blue Sea which are also very fantastic..
Cleopatra Island is famous with its sand which looks like yeast.(!)
But I am sure that you will love it..

Visited here as part of a day tour, 2nd of 4 stops. Very lovely spot, beautiful views and clean water. Can't sit on beach as protected historical site trying to preserve sand but plenty of room on rocks or dirt areas. Lots of loungers available, good toilets, changing rooms, shade from umbrellas & olive trees, café for drinks/snacks. Short walk to beach from boat dock, about 2 mins.
Tours seem staggered so place never overrun & plenty of room for those there.
Only downside was the nipping fish - little buggers literally swam at you and attacked. Didn't do any damage, felt like a pinch, but annoying when trying to relax in water.

The excursion started by us being collected from our hotel and making about five or six stops to collect other people.
We then drove for approx 30 mins with the passengers, driver and tour guide. We boarded a boat together and the guide explained that we would be travelling by boat to Cleopatra Island, but we would be stopping at various islands along the way.
It wasn't long before our first stop, we were able to swim in the sea for approx 30-60 minutes if we wanted to, or stay on the boat and sun bathe. We carried on with the journey and actually past Cleopatra Island. We went past it and onto another island, stopped again for about the same amount of time, and were offered the chance to again swim in the sea. The tour guide explained that we would be stopping at Cleopatra Island on the way back.
We then boarded the boat again for lunch which was spaghetti, breadcrumbed chicken, salad, and watermelon for dessert. You could also purchase drinks or snacks - these were obviously more expensive than the cost at shops or supermarkets.
After lunch we headed back towards Cleopatra Island and arrived there within about 20 minutes. We were given tickets which would gijve us access to the Island, as well as a free sun lounger.
The Island itself is truly beautiful, the sand is spherical instead of grainy, it is likie no sand I have ever seen before- it also feels different to any other sand. There are some guards on the island as it is a protected site and they do not want litter left around etc.
We were on the island for about 2-3 hours I believe - we swam for most of the time. Lockers are available for a fee, and there is a small hut/shop which sells snacks, beverages, sunglasses, ice cream and some snorkel gear. There are also small outdoor showers and changing rooms so that you can rinse off after being in the sea.
There is also a church on Cleopatra Island, but we did not visit it.
After returning to the boat we began the journey home and did not make any more stops. Did have to buy some snacks as we were very hungry at this stage, having been swimming for about 2 hours.
Definitely a worthwhile excursion, the sand is like nothing you have ever seen before, the Island is beautiful and the scenery on the boat ((including the different islands) is also very beautiful.

When booking this trip no where does it state the sand is protected! And no one is allowed on it so the only place to sit is either on the wooden sun loungers(which are all taken up) or the bits of rock and dirt... Which is really uncomfortable! None of us enjoyed this trip.. Ages 36yrs,32,17 & 11 best thing about it was the boat trip there and back.

very diappointed, after being on boat all day Cleopatra Island is tiny, blink and you missed it, what we couldn't work out was how they stop the sand disappearing when the tide comes in because it would wash the sand away - they must top the sand up daily. Beware the fish bite and also the rocks are very, very slippery going into the sea at Cleopatra Island.

Cleopatra Beach must be one of the most beautiful in the world. Can be visited as part of the package tours to Dalyan but you could easily spend the day there in the warm blue sea. Refreshments are reasonably priced too in the local bars.

We done this trip through Thomas Cook, called Cleopatra Castaway. We were taken on a Jeep to top of the mountains. The guide was brilliant. They had there own videographer and photographer capturing the whole trip. After the journey up the mountain, we got on a boat, where we were given lunch and had a few stops for swimming. Then we were taken to Cleopatra Island, which was beautiful. We were lucky to have such lovely weather for it too. Highly recommended trip. Great for all the family. We were given the opportunity to purchase the cd of photos and/or dvd of the whole day of filming, which we did and it only cost us about £20 for both, which was great value.

Are there any local taxi boats in the area that leave from Sedir Adasi (Clepatra port pier) without going on an organized tour, so we could arrive earlier or later than the peak crowd? What's the cost of hiring a boat for a few hours charter. Any information would be helpful and appreciated. Thanks

Praia, Cape Verde

Feribot saatleri nedir?

Adaya çamlı köyden küçük tekneler kalkıyor. Doldur boşalt yapıyorlar. Akşam 7 de adadan son sefer.
