Oludeniz knowing also as Blue Lagoon, with its crystal water surrounding by white stone makes this place unique, but also stunning. There are so many activities that I capture we can do it here, such a parasailing, beach football, playing kite, or maybe only relaxing...More

Another Oludeniz vs Cesme question (3 Replies)
I have been reading the forum and all available information on this topic but still couldn't make my mind. The para gliding in Oludeniz looks very tempting but at the same time it seems like a crime to miss Alacati. We will be in Turkey for the first 10 days in July and in one of the beach towns from 6th to 9th July. We will be coming from Cappadocia and going to Istanbul post the beach. I will keep my questions pointed - 1. Is July really crowded at OluDeniz? Also, the weather forecast...More

Yes, I think this July will be pretty crowded. Over 30 is highly likely. Cesme is much more expensive than Olu Deniz. The Cesme area is popular with relatively well off Turks from Izmir and Istanbul. I find drinks prices (cocktails especially) staggeringly expensive in Alacati. Good atmosphere but so crowded you can barely move in its narrow streets in the evenings. I've never done a boat trip in Cesme (although I know you can hop over to Chios from there) but there are some great...More
