Stayed here for 2 nights while we were staying in one of the resorts along the coast. Very quiet and laid back atmosphere, the local hippies will just leave you to explore and enjoy the surroundings...but very basic amenities. If this doesn't put you off...More

Butterfly valley was vastly underrated by lonely planet and other reviews we had read. My girlfriend and I had set aside an afternoon to hike down the steep cliffs and experience the valley before getting the boat back to Oludeniz. The views on the way...More

Butterfly valley seems to be a privately owned (nature park). There is not much to see here except for a very small waterfall, and a few butterflies if you are lucky.

Amazing and quiet beach a boat away (20TL return trip) from Olüdeniz town. Very good beach restaurant, open 24hs. Beach is beautiful although it has big slippery rocks. Once you've passed them the water is very calm and warm. There's little shade, the few sun...More

Leaving from Oludeniz where the on-street day parking cost 7TL, this is a half-hour boat trip in calm to moderate seas, costing 20TL each which includes the 5TL entry to the Butterfly Valley. Tickets for the boat can be bought from the hut on the...More

Lovely stop-off on our boat trip but not there long enough to walk up to the waterfall area. Saw one butterfly & stumbled on the very pebbly beach while paddling!

We were on a v-go cruise and the boat couldn't go too far into the bay due to weather. We jumped off the boat and swam in, only to find out it wasn't butterfly season! We saw two butterflies. If you are coming in from...More

It's not always possible to get here by boat - and there is no other way - as boats have to land on the beach and the sea swell can make this difficult or potentially dangerous. But it's worth it if you can. Some day...More

I'm not sure what the price is this year. I know that it has increased and it will depend on whether you choose a small tent, a big tent or one of the bungalows. Some of the bungalows have their own shower and toilet room... More
