About
We are an owner/operater company called Beforelunch Boat Cruises. We are based in Fethiye, Turkey. Our boat is 25 metres long and is moored near the Ozsut Café in the main harbour in Fethiye. Our boat has 6 double cabins and one family cabin for 4, all with private en-suites, and one bunk cabin with shared bathroom and we take 16 – 18 people on board, with Captain and Crew. We do not have an office so please check ‘Directions and Details’ to find us in Fethiye. We offer daily, 3 night/4 day cruises, weekly cruises and private cruises. The best way to contact us is via email with enquiries about dates of departure, or other details. All emails will be answered personally and promptly in English or Turkish.

We were 2 Canadian bubble families with 4 adults and 6 kids between the ages of 10-16 on a 3 week tour of Turkey in August. Although our private cruise felt like an extravagant expense for our group it was hands down the most memorable for our kids and the most relaxing part of our 3 week vacation. Each week we'd ask the kids which part of the trip was their favourite and without hesitation all 6 replied "the boat".
For the adults, the cruise was the ultimate in relaxation - beautiful scenery and weather, warm sea water, comfortable accommodations, good food and so, so easy - few decisions to make! Do I hike this morning? Yes! Followed by a refreshing dip and a yummy lunch. Should I have a glass of wine? Absolutely! What an awesome way to enjoy the sunset! Do I sleep on deck? Yes! When else will you have the opportunity to sleep with your friends and kids in comfort under the stars?
Booking the cruise was super easy. Communication with Ros was by email and WhatsApp and was clear, timely and responsive. Captain Ahmet and Sonni were great, they were friendly but also respected our privacy as the 10 of us hung out and had fun together. The kids loved snorkelling, jumping into the water from the boat and lounging on the deck. The hikes, unique to this boat company, were great. The scenery was gorgeous, we learned about the people and history of the area and it felt great to get out for a little sweat in the morning.
All in all we had a wonderful, very memorable, 3 night, 4 day cruise which we'd love to repeat every year if only we could!

I booked this trip last minute after a few chats with Ros, where she made time for me and outlined clearly what the lovely cruise was about.
I tell you what, I wasn't disappointed! My partner and myself showed up and had a magical three nights I just wish we had longer!
Ahmet is an absolutely terrific gentleman who took us on beautiful hikes each day's visiting ancient villages and ruins which were a massive highlight.
I can't even explain the water we got to swim in and the amazing food, gobsmackingly great!
This experience is a testament to what Ahmet and Ros are creating here, in a great Turkish experience. Being only my girlfriend, myself and another lady on the cruise they didn't have to leave the harbour being such a small group, but their willingness to take us on board and do so during fringe season combined with covid was truly amazing.
We are already organising to come back next year for a week with a large group when permitted.
Thanks Ahmet, Ros and the crew, what an experience and if anyone is thinking twice just do it!

Recommended by Lonely Planet we decided to book this mini cruise of 3 nights and 4 days which visits fabulous bays and coves in the Fetyhe district. Beforelunch? What a strange name for a cruise... but we couldn't have chosen better. Ros welcomed us the evening before departure like an old friend, friendly and engaging, she made us feel at ease straight away, providing us with all the information we needed and clarifying all our doubts or requests. The cruise was perfect. Captain Amhet and the cook/handyman Sunny are special and know how to be engaging and available without ever invading the guests' privacy but letting everyone enjoy the cruise experience in their own way. Do you want to be pampered by the waves while you read your favorite book, while you take a nap, while you see the moon rise from behind the hill or while the warm sun of dawn wakes you up with a caress? It will be done. Even the ringing of the bell which heralds excellent breakfasts, lunches, snacks or dinners was an unexpected cuddle that we enjoyed during these magnificent days. Walks along the streets of the Lycians made us discover the history of the place and enchanted with breathtaking views and panoramas. Endless swimming and snorkeling in search of octopus in the myriad of submerged caves, encounters with many types of crustacean fish and even the legendary turtle have transformed pampering into daily adventures. Long diving sessions made us have fun and laugh out loud together with the other guests, who were always kind and perfect travel companions. Thank you from all my heart. For us it was a great experience both before lunch... and after!

I have never written a review before on Trip Advisor. I’ve been to about 60 countries and had too many wonderful experiences to count - there have been dozens of times I thought “this was so lovely. I should write a review” and then never get around to it. But here I finally am. That’s how great this cruise was.
I signed up for a three night cruise thinking it would be plenty of time on a boat. After extending for a full week it was still far too short a time. Next time I will book 2 weeks. And bring along some (deserving) family. The boat is comfortable, Sunny’s (who is the loveliest chef/human) food is fantastic and the scenery is other worldly. Plenty of time to swim and sunbath. The stars at night are the best they get. Ahmet (captain/owner/low key the sweetest) leads hikes with stunning views and no other tourists in sight - and posses a wealth of knowledge about the local area and its plants and wildlife. If you’re a fellow nature person Ahmet is your guy and Before Lunch is your company. The genuine love of the environment was a highlight among highlights for me on this trip.
Speaking specifically to my fellow travelers on a strict budget: I know the prices are a bit higher than other operators. I know the thought process of “thats a big enough difference in budget and I bet all the cruises are similar enough” I meant to book one of the cheaper cruises - but fate (i.e. procrastination and the quick response from Before Lunch) put me here and I have never been so happy to spend that bit of money. There is a reason their reviews are a head above everyone elses. It’s the same reason I’ve met more than one person on board whose made traveling with Before Lunch a long standing tradition. And why I will be back ❤️

Beforelunch was exactly the experience we were looking for! 3 nights/ 4 days of pure relax, exploration, amazing coves and great food! We loved Beforelunch's tendency to stay away of the beaten tracks, resulting in a less touristic and more realistic experience. In addition to visiting lovely coves, we also had 2 amazing hikes, exploring ancient ruins and taking in breathtaking views. Captain Ameth's passion for his job, his land, his people and nature is tangible and really contagious, and the whole crew is heavily committed to the environmental cause. Chef Sunny's food was sooo good that we begged him to come to London and open a restaurant. He politely declined 😂.

Before Lunch boat cruise company is specialize in offering an authentic and comprehensive glimpse into the world of Bay of Fethiye, beautiful and breathtaking. We had 13 days tour around Turkey and in the middle of the tour we used 3 days/4 nights vacationing on the gullet. The gullet tour was our 1st boat tour. We never expected that gullet is such comfortable boat for cruising. Everything worked very well: accommodation were excellent- very comfortable and large suite with private toilet, shower room. Food was excellent - 3 times per day plus tea time. Sunny, our chef, prepared fresh food 3 times per day. Food was delicious! He cooked so many food we had to ask to reduce portions. All ingredients were fresh and high quality and menu were different every day.
Ahmet, knowledgably, experienced captain provided us with a memorable trip that we will never forgot!!Staff, guide itinerary - all perfect. We stayed overnight in Cleopatra bay , we were swimming among ruins of Cleopatra bath and hiked around ancient city, we were sailing around the stunning places in Fethyie bay.
We had a great rest with unforgettable new impressions and highly recommend this company for others.

This blue-cruise is for nature lovers, mindful people and connoisseurs. Like myself :)!
To me it is the ideal place to relax fully, swim every day and recharge my batteries in the midst of pure nature. I love the calm atmosphere on this spacious wooden boat, where you can be by yourself as well as connect with other travelers. I was there several times now, and always have met interesting, open-minded people from round the world. Captain Ahmet, a nature-lover himself, points out the best snorkeling spots, takes you for little hikes with beautiful views and provides excellent, all fresh quality food. I love it. Check it out.

My wife and I had a superb time on board. We found it through the lonely planet book for Turkey and as usual it didn't disappoint. We anchored at several lovely coves with a few morning hikes. Ask Captain Ahmet for some yoga tuition if you're interested!
The food was exquisite - breakfasts of fresh fruit, banana pancakes and Turkish dishes like borek. Lunches were served hot too with salads normally like Tabbouleh. Afternoon tea and treats were also included with apple and lemon cake. The highlights though were the evening meals with fish, calamari and king prawns marinated followed by a BBQ of meats the next night. My wife is vegetarian but didn't struggle and they accommodated her with vegetable fritters and mushrooms.
The cabins are clean with quality sheets but without a breeze and in the summer heat the deck is the place to sleep. Would also recommend nightswimming with bioluminescence in the water.

Three amazing nights aboard ROS with the calm Kaptan Ahmet & super sef Sonni. Bay hopping, sea swimming & relaxing on-board sum up our time. Short hikes to enjoy the views and antik sites are optional (bring suitable footwear). Spacious cabins with ensuite facilities, when it is very warm there is the option to sleep on the upper deck under the stars. Three sumptuous meals a day and 'gulet' made cake for afternoon tea. Towels are provided but take your own Turkish towel for day use. Alcohol and soft drinks available on-board at very reasonable cost. Take a travel sink plug and refillable bottle to compliment the eco credentials of #beforelunchcruises. Highly recommended.

We are repeat visitors who have also sent along family and friends to enjoy the privilege on cruising with the Beforelunch crew. Swimming, sleeping under the stars (if you chose to) and just staring at the sea about sums it up. The food is wonderful too as are the crew. If you want to enjoy a hike or two during the cruise, Captain Ahmet, who is passionate about the environment, is your man. We met wonderful people on both of our cruises but the boat is spacious enough for you to enjoy quiet time too.

Thanks for the review. Just a practical question. We would like to do this next year but as we will be travelling for a while will have a fair amount of luggage. Did you find a way to deal with big suitcases? Did you leave them somewhere on land etc?
