You can buy absolutely anything there even if it is a genuine fake. It's all part of the fun. The fruit and veg that they sell though is fabulous.

If you like markets you will love this. Wonderful sights of colourful fruit and veg of every description, the heady scent of spices and turkish delight at normal prices. Lots of fake gear if you like that sort of thing. Fruit & Veg are at set prices everything else is negotiable. A great experience even if you don't buy anything.... More

This is a HUGE market!! Although many of the stalls are quite similar. They are also very similar to the shops you get in the strips anyway. You can usually get a slightly better price at the market. It is a good experience though

One of the largest markets we have been too, lots to see and buy, must you must be prepared to haggle, get a better price if you pay in pounds, the only down side is that some of the traders get in your face will they ever learn, but most of them say no charge to look and they are... More

Staying in Dalyan we caught the 10am bus, which actually left when full at 9.40! After a picturesque ride with a brief photostop we arrived in Fethiye. The market was a short, hot ten minute walk away. We were amazed at the range of goods on offer. Spices of every range and colour were in abundance. Different flavours of Turkish... More

We had been told this was the place to be. Not entirely sure that this is the case if I am honest. The market was not as big as we had been told although the stall holders were friendly enough and happy to have a laugh and joke with everyone. Haggling is a must - be prepared to walk away... More

A great day out if you are bargain hunting, or food shopping, just beware it is usually hot. A great experience you can even have a nice lunch within the confines of the market

Go early, it's hot..! Go to the fruit and veg area and see the size and quality of the produce if nothing else and so inexpensive. The area with clothes, shoes etc is has 'genuine fake' designer gear but some nice authentic pottery and jewellery. Be careful and know what you are buying. Always barter but don't be too cheeky...
