It was the hottest day of our holiday when we visited so we were sweltering. It was busy with locals and tourists. The fruit and veg part is nice to have a wander around. There's another section aimed at tourists - haggle haggle haggle!

If you want leather then this is the place. It's on Tuesdays dolmus takes you there. These Typically cost 2.5TL now due to new buses. Not as busy as usual due to recent troubles within Turkey. However I felt very safe and there are plenty of bargains to be had. Make sure you know what you want to pay and... More

I enjoy the market and sometimes find really nice leather products or good clothes - you have to bargain for best prices. The food section is good to have pancakes or kebabs too!!

It's great, it's a tourist market and local one all rolled into one. From bags and shoes to fruit, tools and pastry. It's massive, you will get what you want but don't be afraid to barter! You can park pretty close to the market unlike trying to park in fethiye near the old town which is impossible. We enjoyed it... More

Don't buy anything you will be disappointed when it turns green! Cheap and cheerful goods that will last till you get home. Good towels really cheap handbag knockoffs. Always walk away after they turn down your offer and they will suddenly change their minds!!

Thoroughly enjoyed it here. Vibrant, beautiful colours, smells, food, handmade local goods as well as the usual knock-offs. Something for everyone. Even the kids loved it and they normally hate being dragged round shopping! High praise indeed.

Went here primarily for bags and wasn't disappointed, came away with five and all for great prices, lots of the same stalks so shop around and go back to the best quality as it varies greatly.

Interesting and large space with lots of stalls. Worth a visit, 3x teenage kids loved it but we were approached by every stall holder as obvious tourists. Lots of fake branded clothes, bags, perfume, jewellery, fruit and veg.
