There are two types of shopping centers;
Modern and local.I always prefer locals
All moderns are very similiar but locals are very unique.Malatya Sire Pazari is unique with dried apricots that of the best in the world.
Taste it:)

Malatya is the dried apricot capital of the world, and an area of the general central market is set aside for the apricot trade. As well as the actual dried fruits, exotic baskets of apricot-based sweets and cakes can be found. The rest of the market is very lively and colourful, with areas for virtually every specialism you can imagine. When walking around, look out for the big mosque (the Yeni Cami) which is at one edge. It is well worth a visit and interesting to note the large number of locals sitting outside discussing life in the calm courtyard by the fountain
