My apartment is right on the Kordon so I have a different perspective. It really is the place to be, especially in the warmer months. Dozens of restaurants, cafes and bars or just hang out on the grass. If you are just visiting Izmir a...More

One of the best views that you can find in the city lays on this place. Get a beer from a market and then enjoy what you see.

We enjoyed looking walking up and down the promenade and looking at the views and took a boat to Karayaskar. Got some pictures of the sunset. This was way better than galata bridge in Istanbul. The views are better at night time.

Our hotel was on the seawall of the harbor, and the Kordonboyu was perfect for our evening walks. Restaurants and bars abound, and we had dinner every night at one of the seaside cafes. Sunset was a particularly lovely time.

Well, I like the sea, and this was a very nice stroll where you will find fishermen and people walking around. At sunset there were many people just having some snacks and drinks, like evening picnics. I really liked this promenade.
