If you are touring near Efesus don't forget to visit this place. But taking little children or stroller is not easy. It is a beautiful ancient holy place.

That's a really glorious place. There's a huge door at the enterance of this place and it makes the Basilica look like a fortress. Definitely, it's a place to be seen.

This is a place of great historical importance and worthy of a visit. But while we were there one person fell down and cut her lip and damaged the nose - because she was not looking down when walking and tripped on the cobblestones.

You can find the little stones of saint church everywhere around. It is not a church now. There are just ruins with empty tomb.

Here St. John was buried and later Justinian built a massive basilica around him. John is supposed to have accompanied Christ’s mother here where she is also buried further up the road - i skipped that one.
