It is beautifull historical place. For me it was most fascinating how the water flows in the basement for more than two thousand years all the time. Some parts are really in good condition. I Will come beck.

I first visited the Agora in 1974, and then again in 2016. The Agora is my favorite photo spot in the city center. Great spot for black and white photography. So much more work to be done.

Easily accessible by foot from the Izmir Hilton, the Agora Open Air Museum offers an impressive view of ruins of ancient Smyrna. We highly recommend the experience.
