They and I have known each other since 1970's...From France to Turkey,we have shared so much fun ,and food and wine,raki...They are honest ,helpful and warm people

After witnessing our friends carpet purchase in Istanbul's Grand Bazzar I figured my dreams of a carpet purchase were dead. While I appreciated the circus that mascaraded as negotiations I had no interest in participating in some sort of pseudo time share sales pitch. I was pleasantly surprised when I happened upon Mustfa and La Bazzar D'Orient, never got the pressure pitch, he is not big on massive price cuts as his starting prices were significantly below the starting prices in the Grand Bazzar. Of course once you get in the door you will see carpets of all sizes and makes, but no high pressure sales pitch. After viewing the merchandise we walked out the door to think about it came back a couple of days later for tea and negotiations. We bought. If you ask nice he will also entertain you with some local folk music on a sazs (local guitar). If you come to Turkey and want to go home with a carpet, buy it in Cappadocia, I would definitely recommend La Bazzar D'Orient in Urgup.

Murat the owner was wonderful. Very friendly and helpful. Quality of the merchandise is exceptional. You can feel confident that what you're buying is excellent. Huge variety. Looking at all the rugs is a most enjoyable experience one that is not rushed and often done over tea or other refreshments. Highly recommended

If you're in Cappadoccia, visit the lovely town of Urgup. Le Bazaar D'Orient is a must visit. Murat is passionate about the carpets he sells they are works of art, and will help you to understand the traditions of the piece. He has unique and antique pieces, and you are sure to find something special for your home.
We were blessed by the time Murat gave us, he has experience and is reliable in his trade. We highly recommend him to anyone wanting to buy a quality and well-priced carpet. We'll see you again.

I enjoyed meeting Murat bey in his store .He has a fantastic collection of carpet and is passionate about this art.
We definitly need to stop and buy a carpet or two when in Urgup.
I did and i cannot wait to have them in my home.These will bring back all the memories from my fantastic trip in Cappadocia area.

My husband and I visited Turkey in June fully intending to purchase a carpet. Murat at Le Bazaar D'Orient was a pleasure to work with. We did purchase a carpet while at the store. It arrived at home in Indiana as promised. We decided a matching carpet would be great. The second carpet was purchased on-line with the same professionalism. It also arrived as promised. çok teşekkür ederim. Thank you very much. We love our twin magic carpets.

This is the real deal for carpets. It's authentic and Mr Murat's rates are lower for the superior quality than other parts of turkey. They ship worldwide too! Bought two carpets on my last visit and my family and I love them. If you want to purchase your carpets in turkey, you should head here.
