It was amazing. A must visited site specially for those who are familiar with and interested to Islamic mysticism.
In a small town, visiting such a beautiful and well designed and informative site and museum was interesting.
I also recommend visiting archaeological museum.
The hacibektas can be reached by the minibuses departed hourly from Nevsehir city center for 7 TL.

Thought we might see the famous whirling dervishes, but no, they’re in Konya, silly me. This small museum, can be done in an hour and consists of a number of rooms from back in the day. Highlight was the shrine that housed the founder of the sect that is Bektashi. Tidy gardens, drinking fountains for thirsty travellers and a peace and serenity that sadly is all too missing from todays hustle and bustle of 21st century life.

I trusted the various printed guides I use on this long Anatolian journey and I decided to extend an already substantial tour (it lasted a good eight hours today) to visit this monastery-museum of one of the most prominent exponents of the sect of Dervishes-Alavites, whose importance was such that his name was assigned to the village where this 13th century mystic and philosopher placed the epicenter of his preaching. Setting aside the rhetorical veneer that exudes from the explanatory panels (Haci Bektas founded the ideology of human rights, he preached peace, love and goodness, Ataturk realized all his ideas, etc.), this building-mausoleum-museum is of great interest, as well as having an aesthetically attractive architecture. Inside, in addition to the tomb of the saint and those of some of his collaborators and followers - in front of which some of the visitors gather intensely in prayer - there are many rooms that display objects linked to the dervish cult, some rooms that recall the life that was brought there when the palace served as an educational place, a beautiful garden in which a "tree of desires" (for those who know how to attract divine favor with adequate devotion) and a fountain of sacred water have been planted since very ancient times. In short, beauty and spirituality know how to combine here.

Coincidentally, we met Jolly Tur there. Their guides were very good😂. There were informative texts and you can get information about the place you want to see. The museum is very nicely organized. Hacı Bektaş Veli's tomb was a very mystical place. There were no people around taking silly photos and disrupting the harmony of the environment, they were very respectful, especially the head of the Mevlana tomb.

This is a holy place for Bektashi order. If this doesn't mean anything to you, then the place may not be too interesting. However, if you are traveling to Cappadocia, it's just 45 minutes away. It may as well worth the trip. The museum is free, there's a 4-lra parking fee. There are a bunch of gift shops near and a very nice meatball place called Can Baba.

Give education to women,
Control on your tongue, hands and waist,
The greatest book to read is man himself,
Honesty is the door of a friend,
Being a teacher is to give, not to take,
The universe is for man, and man for the universe,
Science illuminates the paths of truth,
We travel in the way of science, comprehension and human love,
Clean where you’ve settled and deserve the money you’ve made,
Let’s be one, be big and energetic,
Don’t hurt anyone, even though you’ve been hurt,
Don’t ask anyone for anything that would be difficult for you to do,
Don’t blame any nation or individual,
Blessed are those who illuminate the darkness of thought,
Keep on searching, and you’ll find,
The beauty of the face consists of the words you speak,
Don’t forget that even your enemy is human,
The biggest God-given miracle is work,
In the language of friendly conversation, you can’t discriminate between man and woman,
Everything God has created is in order,
To us, there’s no difference between man and woman,
If you think there is, you’re mistaken.
His thoughts are based on human love and human existence. This vision is similar to the 1948 Charter on Human Rights. His thoughts were also shared by M. Kemal Atatürk 600 years later, and the Turkish Republic was built on the principles of secularism, democracy and respect for human rights. His thoughts are still alive and still lighten the way for many people.

Visiting this museum complex was truly a special experience. Please read about the history and thoughts of this leader of the Bektasi order before you visit as it will give you a better feeling for the museum. This tranquil complex is beautiful and the displays in the various rooms gives an insight of how the order lived and functioned. One building also contains the mausoleum of Haci Bektas Veli. The rose garden is lovely and look out for the 700 year old mulberry tree propped up by wooden posts. displays are in English and entrance was free when we visited. Open from 08h00 - 17h00. From Nevsehir we took the minibus for the 50 minute ride and busses leaves every hour and will drop you at the complex in the centre of Haci Bektas. Can highly recommend a visit.
