Definitely worth a stop as aside from the rock shaped like a camel, there are other attractive red rock formations to view. Free parking.

Great rock formations. Part of our Cappadocia tour. Good for stop over and photo ops. Just use your imagination for certain camel like images.

Some of these rocks look incredible unstable... I guess it might topple in another few thousand years :D
The different layers correspond to different ages and are hard/ soft; which is why some layers are more eroded than others.
incredible. Not many tourists in early Nov. It was cold. Around 10C.

This place was a pit stop as part of a tour group itinerary. Great for 5 to 10 minutes of your time, snap a shot or two and that's about it.

I think the tour package sold it as:

"See petrified animals in stone!!" Not exactly an archaelogical novelty I had hoped for.

We were not able to do a family camel ride due to the weather. Little grand seeing the shape was good enough for her.

The real advantage of this spot is the more red color of the rocks, making for some excellent pictures. That said, you will be aiming away from a flood of tourists taking selfies.

One of the many, many 'wow' factors that make up this part of the world that is 'out of this world'. Back on the bucket list.

Many such animal like things anywhere are hard to recognize when visiting, but this one really looks like a camel.
It's another stone formation and is located in Dervent valley, so if you go there (near Zelve open air musuem) do come to see it.

Yeah, it definitely looks like a camel. Kind of a neat formation to get a photo of (especially if you can walk down the hill and get the right angle). Fun place!
