We were in Goreme in second week of February, planned to do hot air balloon but due to bad weather, they cancelled the flight for both days we were there. Then we decided to take a Red Tour guided by Mithat.
The highlight was the visit to underground city where we need to walk and bend our body in the coldness dark of the cave, continue to Selime Cathedral that was empty due to bad weather and many groups diverting the route, but Mithat insisted we need to go and see the cathedral, his persistence was resulted the feeling for all of us, having the cathedral on our own, because nobody was there, only our group. The tour proceeding for lunch which also included on the package, and ended with a super beautiful walk in Ihlara Valley, again only our group was there, so we kind of having the whole valley private for us.
Mithat made few jokes during explaining history and very interactive which makes the trip was so much fun and we truly enjoyed it.
Thank you so much for making our trip remarkable Mithat and hope to visit you again !

The Good
1. The guide Mithat, is well informed, scrupulous and generally high energy. Kept our small group of 8 people together and answered all questions with grace and knowledge. Additionally despite the bad weather, he offered to complete the tour through some alternative sights. But it dint come to that.
2 The itinerary was well planned in the sense that we saw Cappadocia from a very cultural but outdoorsy point of view. We visited some great viewpoints, the underground citadel of Kayamakli, the Selime Monastery, Ilhara Valley.
3. Sights were beautiful, the snow was captivating and the walk through Ilhara was the best part for me. It was a 3 km walk easy, yet filled with so many beautiful sights.
4. Food was good. It was no culinary delight and ti be fair I wasnt expecting it to be. But it was warm, filling and tasty. A ratatouille feeling rather than a foie gras feeling. :D :D
The Improvable
1. The tour tries to optimise for seeing more sights as opposed to spending more time there.
2. My suggestion would be to either have an earlier start at 7 am or show lesser viewpoints. An early start is a staple of tours in se asia so it's not an untried concept.
The Inevitable (but well handled)
1. Tourism involved trying to stimulate the economy and making it sustainable means that a tourist like us should ideally be injecting money into the economy. This means hotels, restaurants, etc.
2. This tour stopped at a gem shop at the end where we had a short introduction to gemstones available and then interested users could have a look or buy.
3. Mithat quickly shipped out most of us who were uncomfortable with the idea of facing expectant salespeople. However, the salespeople were themselves very calm and not pushy at all. I guess they understand conversion rates by the look of the group.
4. This is good or bad as you see but worth a mention as it's generally inevitable.
Verdict:
Thumbs up. Great Value for money. Low stress. High payoff

Informative, professional, yet fun to be around: Aysel was possibly the greatest tour guide I have ever had. She made the Green Tour an incredibly enriching experience for me.
The Red Tour was also good, although Ufug Can struggled to have as good a grasp on his group as Aysel: 7 group members (most of them older) got lost at some point, because they couldn't find the group. Aysel had a great trick for that as she would call her "hazelnuts" (get it?) to move to the next spot.
When I challenged Ufug on this, he got defensive, which was a shame. But I didn't let that ruin an otherwise beautiful day. And the delicious buffet more than made up for it!
Highly recommend.

Busra was the best travel guide. Felt like I was traveling more of a friend than a tour guide. She was very knowledgeable and goes above and beyond to make sure you have the best experience possible. Her personality will energize you even if the tour seems long. Definitely recommend the Green Tour.

The green and red tours had some very interesting sights, on both tours, we rubbed shoulders with several other groups and we couldn’t help over hearing their guides providing infinitely more information and fascinating background to each of the sights we visited than our own guide. Our guide Akif was relatively friendly but seemed disinterested in his job and provided the strict minimum information in a rushed and rehearsed manner. As the day went on he increasingly seemed to want to get over and done with the tour and even offered some rather sharp comments which were uncalled for and not funny. I really don’t think he is tour guide material - something that reflects directly on the agency. In the end, we just chose to enjoy our day despite his rather annoying presence so as not to let it get in the way of our otherwise lovely holiday in Cappadocia.

Oh, my gosh! We had the most fabulous fairy chimney/tufa church caves tour on April 30 with talented Akif Ozturk as our guide! Our Flixbus to Goreme from Ephesus was delayed, due to the driver having hit a dog. The bus was stopped for some time while everyone on the bus cared for the poor pup and provided first aid. Thankfully, puppy recovered, but we got to Goreme too late to make the day trip to the Underground Cities and Serbian Church that we had hoped to go on, but Akif, who was hosting the Red Line trip to Goreme, Zelve, Pasabaga, Love Valey and other fun locations, including a free Turkish buffet stop and Turkish ceramics making and Turkish carpet weaving demos, kindly drove back from his first tour location to rescue us and take us along for the rest of the journey. He saved the day for us! Extremely knowledgeable, articulate, kind, and funny, not to mention handsome, with dreamy eyes, he is the best tour guide we have ever had on a trip. He took into consideration the fact we were older than the others on his tour, noting there would be a lot of walking and commending us for keeping up with the youngsters so well. I am interested in the Konya area of Turkey, of Sumi mystic poet Rumi fame, where he grew up, and he shared a lot of great info about it with me. He is a thinker, a philosopher and a gentleman. I highly recommend any tours he leads. He knows his stuff and is eager to share it. After the tour he gave us a tip about where to find a great restaurant in the area, where I enjoyed a delicious pottery kebab (they crack the pottery open for you-- fun to watch) and a creamy Aryan Turkish drink made of yogurt. It was a perfect day.

Unfortunately a tour with this company was not worth the money paid.
It was sometimes hard to understand the guide because of how she spoke English and we had a mixed group of Spanish, Arabic and Russian speakers. I wasn't the only one with this problem. The guide didn't wait for the whole group to listen to her and just started talking. I'm not sure why she didn't wait for everyone.
Plus, they don't tell you this but if you pay by card, you will be overcharged (they told me the bank takes a commission and this is the reason why they overcharged me 2 euro).
Overall, it was definitely not the highlight of my trip to Cappadocia.

While visiting Cappadocia I had a very exciting Green Line tour, which was so well organized by the agency.
Thanks a lot for tons of impressions. I had an unforgettable experience of seeing the most beautiful cave monastery in the world as well as an underground city and so many stunning view points.
I would like to thoroughly thank Aysel, who is an incredible guide. She went above and beyond our expectations in order to make the trip a remarkable one: she paid attention to lots of small details such as focus on our preferences regarding what we actually wanted to see, sharing the stories about Cappadocia and Turkey, giving advice for the upcoming days program. I know so much more about the area now!
Thank you Woop Woop Travel for the great experience and the wonderful day spent together.

I went on the Red Tour with this company and cannot recommend them enough! Our tour guide Ufuk was incredibly knowledgeable and personable. He gave us great background about each place and also gave us plenty of time to explore and take pics. I wasn’t sure about the red tour but definitely recommend it as visiting the sites with a good guide helps you to understand and appreciate the sites which may otherwise just seem like a bunch of rocks.
I went on the tour as a solo traveller but thanks to a wonderful little group and a Gem of a guide it felt like a great day out with friends. Thank you!

We booked a red tour with Woop Woop travel. This was an excellent use of our day and I would highly recommend this tour which was worth the price. Ufuk Jan was a wonderful tour guide - he was very informative, polite and patient. He explained about the history, geology and answered all of our questions. He was present but also allowed space for us to explore things on our own, sufficient time allocation and flexible on what we wanted to do or did not want to do.
