An OK ride with some real singletrack, good climbs and technical sections. Quite short so you'll want to combine it with Love (White) Valley (aka Phallii Valley). Endless permutations of singletrack with some cool features. No big drops or jumps, so some decent rental bikes...More

The entire sight of this valley and the pigeons and the castle in the distance - unforgettable. Somewhat cluttered with tacky tourist souvenir stands but you can just do your best to ignore them.

I found a gipsy by the roadside selling handmade accessories. Good bargain. Picture taking good for the album. Opposite the Pigeon valley is a jewellry shop which sell turquoise bracelet, rings and necklaces. Good service. The jewellery looks like quality stuff.

Rug up, take plenty of fluids plus good hiking boots and then enjoy the walk. From Goreme it is a 3 or 4 hour trek.
