My husband and I were trying to book tours for the Cappadocia area and had contacted our hotel for prices and details .. Our hotel had quoted some high prices and I was not happy with them.
I researched a bit more using google and came across nese tours... I have to say .. That was my lucky day... The owners Mr. Serkan Akbay and Mr. Abdullah are gems of ppl... Very very professional and extremely helpful...
I had booked the following tours with Nese Tours- Red Tour, Green Tour, 2 hrs ATV tour and 60 min Hot Air Balloon including a full day tour of Antalya and neighboring towns like Side and finally one way transfer from hotel to airport.. All total for 250 euro per person... This price, in comparison to the prices quotes from the hotel and other agencies (325-350 euros) was so much better!
The tours were very well conducted!
ATV tour was mind blowing awesome! Loads and loads of fun .. The ATVs were of very good condition and the guide was just so much fun! He was very careful and always made sure we were safe...
The hit air balloon tour was just spectacular ... Very safely handled and extremely professional :) A definite must do! Both the red and green tours were conducted by English speaking guides... And man they were fun too! The tour guides gave very good explanations of each site and importance / significance of the sites. They gave enough time to tour around in all sites. In some sites like goreme open air museum, underground city, etc. they accompanied us to ensure first we don't get lost and second to make sure we understand the significance of each site... Both tours included lunch (45-60 min duration) all paid.. Only one had to pay for their drinks..

I visited Cappadocia in October with friends, and we were recommended to use Nese Tours through our hostel in Istanbul. Though I was hesitant at first (I thought we could do it ourselves without a tour), the price was right and the tours visited all the places we wanted to see- so we decided to go for it. Now I can happily say that our experience with Nese was above and beyond what I had hoped for.
We were very pleased with the prompt daily pickup and dropoff, the sites visited, and the provided lunches and activities. We did both the Red and Green tours, and had Serkan Akbay as our tour guide both days. Serkan was one of the best tour guides I have ever had (and I have gone on a LOT of tours)- he catered to the tour group, was friendly, intelligent, and obviously had plenty of experience. His tours truly made my visit to Cappadocia, and I consider it incredibly lucky to have had such a good guide to show me all the wonders of Cappadocia.
I highly recommend Nese to any travelers going to Cappadocia, and would request Serkan if I were you! Thanks Nese & Serkan!!!

My husband and I had only 2 days to visit Cappadocia and we chose to do so with a guided tour rather than on our own. Nese Tour organized a two-day programme for us - the green tour and the red tour respectively - that ensured we would see all the main attractions of the region despite our limited time. Their service was friendly, punctual and flexible to adjust to our needs. Their guides spoke English very well, and answered our questions with patience and humor.
Unfortunately, they were also flexible to adjust to the needs of other visitors on our tour, with the result that a lot of time was spent souvenir shopping - or waiting for other visitors to visit their souvenir shopping. That's the only thing I'd change!

A guided tour is the only way to do Cappadocia and will end up saving you time and money. The landmarks and major sites are spread rather far apart, some taking 45 minutes to get to, and you'll have no idea what you're looking at / the history behind them without a guide.
Nese Tours was FABULOUS, large in part due to our guide, Serkan. He was incredibly knowledgable, energetic, and personable. My friends and I threw an infinite number of questions his way and he was able to answer every single one in detail. We chose to do both the green and red tours over two days and after the first day put in a special request for him to be our guide again on day two.
The tours themselves covered all the main attractions and had, in my opinion, a perfect balance between walking around site-seeing and seated activities (pottery, meals, transport, etc.).

I came to Cappadocia and made a reservation for the two main tours, the Green Tour and the Red Tour at the Nese Tour agency at Goreme, without knowing exactly what will be the guiding. What was my surprise, after I followed the two days interesting information, given to the guests by Mr. Serkan Akbay. His most important qualities as a guide are his competence, the way he presents it and his nice attitude towards the people.
If you want to have one of the best guides in Cappadocia look for Serkan Akbay. He will add a lot to your unforgettable memories from one of the most beautiful places in the world!

Nese Tour were highly professional from the start: clear info on the web made us feel we knew with confidence what we were signing up for, and their e-mails confirming our reservation made arrangements for the day crystal clear. They collected us from our hotel & transferred us to their office on time, and no payment was taken until this point. After payment at the office we were put on smart clean minibuses appropriate to our particular day-tour. Our guide (Serkan Akbay) was charming and proved to be an extremely well-informed graduate highly knowledgable about the sites we visited (the underground city at Derinkuyu, the Ihlara valley with its rock-cut houses and frescoed churches, and the complex site of Selime). A good lunch at Ihlara was included in the tour-cost, and we also had a brief unscheduled diversion to the interesting and unusual meteorite-crater lake of Narli Golu, en route between Derinkuyu & Ihlara. We felt we'd had a wonderful and informative experience, and the excursion was well worth the cost. The gilt on the gingerbread was that we had excellent weather (not guaranteed in spring) and our fellow clients were friendly and also interesting.

My husband and I went on the Green Tour with Nese which was a great experience and well worth it. Our guide, Serkan had excellent knowledge about the area and places we visited. He was charismatic, entertaining and spoke excellent English. A lot of the places we visited wouldn't have been as good without a guide like Serkan as there was little information available there. Well worth the money, a great day out!

When I got to Cappadocia I hadnt booked any guided tour or activity. A friend recommended Nese Tour to me and told me that they offer very nice tours with friendly and experienced guides all around Cappadocia. So I decided to take her advice.
And I have to say that the tour I joined was really worth the money!!
Our guide Nevzat took us to all the stunning historical places and made the day not only a very interesting, but also unforgettable and funny day which I won't forget so soon. :)
I want to recommend Nese Tour agency to anyone visiting Cappadocia at some point.
You will see beautiful landscapes and history, make friends, learn about Turkish history and culture and have a lot of fun, Maşallah!! :-)

While in Secuk (our Ephesus stay) we were persuaded to book a ballon ride and the red and green tours with Nese. I have to say I was a bit concerned doing this without prior research and comps. It was NOT a mistake, Nese Tours are well organized, informative and fun. We had the fabulous tour guide, Serkan. His patient and calm demeanor, excellent English skills, knowledge and apparent love of what he does made every moment enjoyable. We were so happy to have him for both days of our tour!
We also had a great time on our balloon ride. I would not hesitate to book again with Nese Tours. A great value with great service.

We made our tour reservation from our stay in Istanbul and were wondering whether we were overpaying for our tours. But at the end of our 2 nights stay in cappadocia, we can tell you that this tour was the way to go. We joined both the green and red tour, and on both times we had a spirited Mr.Serkan Akbay lead us. He likes to call himself Khan for short! (yah right).
Anyway from the start of the tour till the end, things moved along like clock work. On the second day, we had a hail storm and heavy rain as we walked along Ilhara valley. All of us were totally drenched, but we all enjoyed it thoroughly. He was patient, knowledgable, fun, quirky and unless you were asking for certain recommendations (ie where to go or what to buy) he was not pushing any! Had a great time.......

Sorry - just realized we may have time for 1/2 day the next day in case anyone has recommendations on what to book for that time frame. Thanks

Half day,,
You can take hot air balkoon tour.
It start 5am till around 8am then u can walk around the center of cappadocia enjoying the cafes.
Or, after balloon u can book red tour. As i rmmber red tour will ending shorter than green tour.
Or, just walk to the open air museum. A lot to see there. Or u can take horse tour (but i guess lil boring).
Maybe those are the options i can suggest. (pardon my English lol)

Hi guys, if we only have time for one tour - would you recommend the red, green or blue?
We were thinking green
Written June 24, 2016
Sorry for the delay in reply. The best is to get all three. But, if you are staying in Goreme- This is pretty much mostly of the Red Tour. But, to see the full feature of Cappadocia, I would get all three tours plus the Hot Air Balloon tour.

Hello
I would like to know the price of the red and green tours for a couple.
Can both ours be done in a single day?
Do any of the tours include the hot air balloon ride?
Will you pick up and drop off at my hotel?
We are thinking of coming sometime in August.
Thank you
Susie
