I booked an Ultra Comfort flight with them last month and even though it was on the pricier side, it was really worth it. From the emails with Maedeh and Natalia, to the flight with Hakan, this hot air balloon company did an amazing job.
We got picked up from our hotel early in the morning and was dropped off at a light breakfast place with some coffee, water, tea and plastic wrapped bread. The actual take off site was 5 minutes away and the flight was timed perfectly for the sunrise. My mom and I were with another couple for the ultra comfort flight compared to other people in a bigger basket which looked packed. It was great because we felt more comfortable especially at this time of pandemic. It was our first time flying on a hot air balloon and the experience was phenomenal. We felt safe in terms of the flight and Covid. My mom was surprised that although she was afraid of heights, she enjoyed the ride and was not scared at all. Our pilot was Hakan Hildiz and he was exceptional and fun. He provided cool historical info about the hot air balloon rides, fairy chimneys, and the towns around the site. Our flight was smooth throughout and about 75ish minutes long. Hakan gave everyone a chance to see everything by smoothly doing 360s. The landing was also super smooth because Hakan and his team coordinated, communicated and physically worked hard.
I would definitely recommend them to anyone planning on doing a hot air balloon and if it’s your first time, it could end up being the best hot air balloon ride in your life.

Went for the Hot air Balloon ride with Cappadocia Voyager Balloons. They picked us up at 6:30am from our hotel and went to the breakfast spot where we made our payment. Breakfast provided was decent.
I booked a Standard flight for us where we would’ve been placed in a 16-20 basket but they upgraded us to a private hot air balloon ride which had only the 7 of us + the captain in the basket without any extra charge. That’s where the million dollar experience began.
I had read a lot about the most experienced and reputed hot air balloon companies in Cappadocia and Voyager turned out to be one of them. It certainly did live up to the expectations. The entire experience was so well organised, from pre booking communications, to prompt responses, our hotel pickup, the shuttle we were supposed to be in, the ease of getting in the balloon, the smooth takeoff, a seemless landing, the champagne celebration, the warm, helpful & welcoming staff and the list goes on.
The price offered was also very decent as compared to the other hot air balloon giants in the area.
We flew over the red valley, goreme, pigeon valley among other places. It was hands down the best sunrise that i have ever witnessed.
Thanks to Voyager Balloons for keeping up with the expectations.

Incredibly professional operation that resulted in the most amazing experience.
We were picked up from our hotel in Göreme on time, provided with delicious coffee/cake whilst we watched the balloons inflate and were in the sky by around 40mins later. The pilot was very skilled, knowledgeable about the local area (speaking in both English and Russian), put us all at ease and navigated the balloon through the intricate valleys of cappadocia rather than just up and down. He clearly hugely enjoyed his job! The views from the basket were truly exceptional.
Due to COVID restrictions there were only 9 of us in the basket (the sign said the capacity would usually be 18 so it felt like we had plenty of room in our segment of the balloon). The cost of the trip was €130pp - our hotel (Hera Cave suites) organised it all for us.
If you are in cappadocia a balloon ride is not something to miss out on! I will remember the experience for the rest of my life.

I learnt about Voyager Balloons through my sister’s colleague. Voyager Balloons is the balloon wing of CVB Travel. The website was okay but the trip advisor reviews was stellar. So that made me go ahead with it.
I found a contact, Tek, listed on the voyager balloons site and emailed him. We exchanged several emails to discuss my stay and tours in capadoccia and he was highly responsive. I engaged Tek to arrange my cave hotel, return flights to capadoccia, transfers, tours and hot air balloon. Payment wise, i made a partial deposit over bank transfer and then paid the remaining when i arrived on the day of the hot air balloon ride.
The moment we arrived at kayseri/capadoccia , everything was like clockwork in the limited time we were there. Tek was in close contact with us over whatsapp to update us for the days itenary and time to be on standby to be picked up by the driver.
The hotel he picked for us which was chosen based on my budget was exceptional. MDC cave hotel. The itenary for the the 2 day tour was interesting. The first day tour guide Ardim was highly engaging, efficient and passionate about sharing his knowledge abt the capadoccia region and did his best to make sure we were on schedule.
The hot air balloon ride was great, the pilot was hilarious and kept the ride very entertaining. Tek arranged a private van to bring back my family back to the hotel as he knew i needed to attend a work call at 8am at no extra cost.
Tek as well acceded to my request to start the daily tour at 945am so that i had enough time for breakfast and to take my work call in the morning. Tek even managed to fit it Sunset horseback riding for us right after we arrived making it a very memorable stay in capadoccia
The tour include visits to a jewellery school, a carpet making school and a ceramic school and we managed to get a few items and tokens of our trip to cappadocia.
I would highly recommend voyager balloons, CVB travel and Tek to anyone keen on coming to capadoccia

We booked this balloon trip before arriving in Cappadocia based on a lot of positive reviews from others. Unfortunately there were some unusually high winds when we first arrived which led to our flight being cancelled two days in a row. While this was mildly inconvenient it actually made us feel safer knowing that safety was such a high priority.
On day three the weather was perfect and we got picked up from our hotel at 03:50 and driven to the Voyager balloons office where we were given breakfast, some much needed coffee and were transferred to different mini buses based on the balloon we where going to be flying on. The drive to the launch site lasted about 15 minutes, and approaching the field in the early hours of the morning with all the balloons at different stages of being inflated was an incredible site.
Once our balloon was close to being fully inflated we were ushered into the basket and given a quick safety briefing by our pilot and co-pilots - Mustafa and Torros - before setting off.
The whole flight lasted about 70 minutes and the views over Göreme were absolutely stunning. During the flight, Torros gave some background about each of the valleys as we flew by them and some more general information about the history and geology of the region.
The landing was much smoother than I expected, and once everyone had got out of the basket we all had a small glass of champagne to celebrate before being driven back to our hotel.
The whole experience was great and while it's quite expensive I would recommend it to anyone visiting Cappadocia.

UNFORGETABLE!!!! Don't have the words to describe our experience but here goes.... Our pilot Bekir was in a league of his own and made the ride so very comfortable. Especially in a basket of people scared of heights at some level. We didn't worry for a second! THE MAN IS A MASTER!
We had the deluxe package and shared the balloon with a single couple, by the end of the 1.5 hour ride we made new friends that shared in out exceptional memories.
The view over Cappadocia was incredible and the sunrise was definitely one of a kind!
I would recommend the deluxe package over the standard sine it is more intimate, the price is totally justified!

My wife and I along with 2 good friends had the most awemazing experience on our +90 minute hot air balloon ride over the otherworldly landscapes of Cappadocia in October 2020. In addition to the overall quality of Voyager Balloons, our experience was as good as it gets because of our truly exemplary pilot, Hakan Yıldız. His piloting skills with the balloon were extremely impressive from take off to landing and this was topped off with his extremely deep knowledge of everything from hot air balloons to the Kapadokya region to Turkey in general. And all that wrapped up in a truly entertaining and enthusiastic man. All four of us were just blown away by the whole experience and with how great Hakan was. We can not recommend Voyager Balloons and Hakan highly enough other than to say both are a "must experience at least once in your life".

We had to be up very early which hurt but it was well worth it. We were picked up at our hotel promptly by the team at 5am and taken to a warm place where we could have a free drink and croissant whilst they prepared the balloons.
After 20 mins we were transfered to the take off area and with a little help from the team we "delicately and gracefully," climbed into the basket.
Our pilot Cem was amazing. He made us feel very safe from the beginning and any anxieties were gone within seconds. He took us up as far as 500m and so low we were able to say hello to people.
I would highly recommend wrapping up because it was cold - but do remember when the suns out it will still burn, as we found out on the first day of arriving in Cappadocia, so please remember the sun tan lotion.
The flight itself lasted just over an hour and when we landed Cem gave us all a certificate and a glass of champagne before being driven back to our hotel.
When you come here, a sunrise hot air balloon ride is a must, and I world high recommend this company as a must too. They treated all of us with care and all of them were very friendly and helpful.
Many thanks go to you all, you have made our trip!

We were very lucky to fly with Voyager Balloons company in Cappadocia! Due to the bad weather all flights were cancelled for several days and the company with whom we were booked before informed us that due to high load they don’t have spaces for nearest days and cancelled our reservation. It was extremely hard to find available slots in such short period of time (I would definitely recommend to book the flights in advance before your trip!). Luckily we were able to book a flight with Voyager. Their manager was always in touch via WhatsApp. That made our communication much faster and easier. We booked Ultra Comfort flight (8 people in the basket). Our flight was very comfortable, full of emotions and interesting. It lasted more than 1.30 hours (although it was mentioned 75 mins in the flight description). Going down with the balloon we saw attractions of Cappadocia and going high we saw amazing sunrise. It was amazing! Thank you so much for this experience to our pilot Eray and Voyager Balloons company! We will definitely recommend them to our friends!

I flew in October with my partner and it was a magical experience. I highlight the professionalism of the entire team, taking care of the details but especially the health of the passengers in times of pandemic. The flight was very well cared for, you can see that the pilot has a lot of experience and we liked that it even took a little longer. Communication with Natalia via email was always fast and punctual. I loved the detail at the end, which was a certificate with my name on it, I recommend this agency to everyone, characterized by comfort, flying with few passengers and details. Thank you very much for such a beautiful and romantic experience. I want to repeat!

Hi! Why do you need our passport numbers for the flight and how can we know is safe to do that?
Written May 22, 2024
We brought our passports but we were not required to present it when we checked in the morning of our flight . It is my understanding that there is an aviation law that requires a passport. I felt very safe about their process.

Hi, What is the expected time of return back to the hotel after finishing all activities?
Written August 10, 2022
So, the ride from the hotel to their centre, half hour. Another 20 minutes to the ballooning site. We were up for around an hour. Then champagne etc another 20 minutes, and half hour back to hotel, so door to door around 3.5 hours. but its worth it.

I've just read that flights in Kapadokya with balloons are starting on 22th August.
I don't know if it's true...so I'm asking you if are you flying at the beginning of September? (As we have planned a trip between 2-4 September).
Thank you in advance!

It takes 7-8 hours driving from Istanbul to Cappadocia, but flight is only 1 hour. The air ticket is cheap, so why not take airplane?
