You have to have a walk about, we got in for free over 60 we did it in the afternoon it opened at 1330, a leisurely stroll took us two hours, walked on a nice flat surface, the gift shop was not up to much...More

All in Turkish, but well worth the visit. There was a famous naval battle that Turkey won in 1915 that was explained in the museum.

Interesting to walk on the ramparts, but did not see a museum, there was a shop called the museum shop but it had little stock, other than some drinks and a few trinkets

Hard to believe how human had started to make "clothes" to cover their bodies and build their own shelters from mud or adobe bricks to be able to withstand the ravages of weather. Their development are being unveiled in this small area. An eye-opening indeed...More

Çanakkale Naval Museum is open between 09:00-17:00 everyday except Monday. The exhibition outside takes about 1 hr if you explore all of the items. It takes around two hours if you visit both Nusret ship and the show... More
