We loved the tour of Ephesus. Necdet, our guide, provided lots of fascinating historical information. He customized the tour for us and took us to a Turkish retsurant where we enjoyed lunch with locals, which was enjoyable. This was ironically my favorite destination during our cruise, which was to the Greek islands. Highly recommend! I would warn that there are lots of people who will try to sell you items at the end of the Ephesus site, but I imagine that is the experience of all visitors there.…

We recently visited Kusadasi on a cruise. Looking at things to do I came across a “tour of Ephesus for cruisers” in Viator that looked good, they booked it with One Day In Ephesus tour and I’m glad they did. The service from Necdett and the driver was outstanding, the tour started with an overview of Turkey, both past and present. We visited the house of the Virgin Mary and Ephesus, Necdett was very detailed and patient with all of the questions we had. We then had lunch at a local Turkish restaurant and stop for shopping at pottery, leather and carpet places. I strongly recommend you visit the places as they are experiences on their own! The only thing I would do differently is how I bought the tour, Viator has disappointed me over and over and I think is best to book the tours dire toy with the source.…
