We decided to take private guide to learn more and not to spend too much time with a crowded group. Our guide Gökhan made our tour very efficient. He is very knowledgable about Turkey, Ephesus, ancient civilizations. He and our driver made us comfoetable during our tour. Ephesus port tour as a company was also great from the booking till the start point of the tour. They responded all my questions on time and clearly.

My husband and I were on a two week cruise of the Greek isles and Turkey. Based on info shared by our travel agent, rather than do a group tour through the cruise line we opted to book a private tour and were so glad we did. The reason we decided to go this route is that we had heard there would be crowds to navigate, it would be hot, and walking around Ephesus can be challenging due to the cobblestones and uneven paths. Being older we felt a group tour might go at a pace that would be too strenuous for us. And we were right. Our tour guide Boz was absolutely amazing. His knowledge and insight that he shared with us was so informational. He knew all the ins and outs of touring Ephesus to address our concerns which made for a memorable tour. I would highly recommend Boz as your tour guide!

Fantastic day in Ephesus with our tour guide Banu. Our cruise was a little late disembarking but Banu was there awaiting our arrival, bright and eager to start the day. She was very keen to tailor the experience to fit our expectations. We were met by our driver in a lovely airconditioned new vehicle. on the drive to Ephesus Banu set the scene and filled us in on some interesting facts about Turkey, its history, and the economy. On arrival at Ephesus, all was streamlined with entry fees, etc. It was a glorious day, Banu was a wealth of information, she told us stories, imparted a wealth of information, and made it all come to life! Banu was extremely consultative and at every turn, she put forth suggestions of things we might like to see or do. Nothing was too much trouble. It was just the two of us, and we visited a ceramic producer, and a carpet weaver both so engaging, and no pressure to purchase. Banu also suggested we have lunch at the carpet weaving establishment, it was just delightful local food and was not sold to us as anything more than it was. An opportunity to try things I would not usually order. We both thoroughly enjoyed the day. Ephesus and specifically "the houses" were a highlight of our trip
