I have been keeping an eye on reviews, and the ongoing scamming since I last had a bad experience at prestige massage, which i followed up by another scathing review. I'm just wondering after reading so many bad reviews, all of the same nature,... massage interrupted by a co worker to interpret saying extra payment is needed, and under hand blatant robbery,...when are the Jandarma going to look into this premise. The next time I'm in this region, I will be raising this with the jandarma. I can't understand why no one has reported these cowboys before to the jandarma, this place has an undertone of sexual harassment, intimidation and daylight robbery. Unfortunately when I was there, it was my last day, otherwise I'd have made great efforts to stop by my local Jandarma in Side.

We booked this with another couple we were holidaying with. A guy with an electric tricycle on the beach front, sorted this, with two other trips via Prestige Group( the other trips were okayish). Everything was fine, until the massage part. We didn't mind the mud bath, steam room or salt cave. Then we had a drink in the relax area. Drinks were extra, but that was okay. The massage was very relaxing, but was spoiled by the receptionist telling me to get up as he had something to tell me, as the masseur didn't speak English. So, mid massage, I was asked, rather patronizingly, when I last had a "professional massage", to which I replied "never". Then I was told I had circulation problems & areas where I get cramp, & that was very dangerous. He then told me my friends & wife wanted the treatment, & I should take it as well. I told him I would wait until I got home to seek medical advice from someone more qualified. I told him I would pay for my wife's treatment, as she had a shoulder problem, that had been bothering her for some time. It was only after the treatments were finished, that we all spoke about the bullying tactics used to get money out of us. STAY AWAY.

We bought this experience from a travel agent across the road from our hotel. We thought we would book early in the holiday for a massage and a Turkish bath as we thought it would be beneficial for us to have good skin to get a good tan. We were collected from the hotel and arrived at the spa . We were herded in and told to get changed, then sent to a outside room containing mud , no explanation just sent to this area , this lasted for about 20 minutes told to shower and follow, we were took down some dingy stairs to a very poorly illuminated area and shown the steam room , 15 minutes we were sent to the salt room which was dirty and smelly. At this point I should followed my instinct and left. To cut a long storey short we were taken upstairs for our massage ,we were put in a waiting area with other guests, advised that there was a bit of wait so a guy offered us all a complimentary face mask , he proceeded to go round the room of people with a bowl and a paint brush and put this on everyone’s face, I declined as hygiene was lacking. The massage basically was a total con , my husband and I were taken to separate areas the massage began the masseur left the room 10 minutes in and then suddenly came back with another guy who explained the masseur didn’t speak english, the masseur had discovered I needed urgent treatment for a medical condition. I explained I had no extra money and would need to discuss with my husband , the other guy said he would go and explain to my husband, he came back and said my husband said it was okay and to continue with the treatment. They done the same scenario with my husband he also had an urgent medical condition! they told my husband I had said yes to paying extra for his treatment. The whole experience was intimidating. Once it was all over the scamming didn’t stop there, we needed to pay . We were taken back to our hotel to get payment , I decided to use my credit card huge mistake . We paid the bill some 250 TL , no receipt . The whole experience was dreadful, but didn’t end there . On arrival back to uk my credit card bill arrived the charge £250.00 , not Lira , put the transaction into dispute but didn’t have a leg to stand on as I put my PIN number in machine at the time and funny enough was given no receipt. Emailed the company 27 times guess what no reply. Feel stupid as partly my own fault but how did they manage to change Lira to £ . Please be careful or better still don’t use this place Feel

I visited this spa with my partner after being suggested it by locals for our whole holiday. It cost us about £7 in lira to go in, and we got transfer to and from our hotel You spend your own time in a mud bath, a sauna, a steam room and a salt room before being taken into the spa It is an experience to say the least! Lasting about 10-15 minutes, you get washed down and sort of? Massaged.. You then get a full body massage lasting about 30-40 minutes. It was really enjoyable and Relaxing!!! Really fun experience and i think a must do when in Turkey! Not sure why the ratings are so low, for the price and experience i think its deffo worth it. Would suggest going towards the beginning of your holiday as they really exfoliate you and prep your skin for the sun! The only down side i found was they try to tell you whats wrong with you at the end to try and get some more money from you. E.g they told me i had water tension or something in my legs and they can help to sort it out with a particular massage costing around €30, unfortunately i fell for it lol! But the extra massage lasted around 40 minutes and was really pleasant.
