- buddNottingham, United Kingdom12 contributionsStunning!!!!Stunning location. Wonderful bay and sea like a giant pool. We went at the start of the season so it was not too busy. We easily parked by the rush y and walked down. I can imagine in high season it must be too busy.Visited April 2024Traveled with familyWritten April 3, 2024
- Korean TravelerSeoul, South Korea390 contributionsPretty and beautiful, but a little uncomfortableIt was such a beautiful beach and I liked that there were no showers or separate entrance fees. There was no solicitation, and people sat comfortably at tables near the shower area. However, it is difficult to park because there are a lot of people, and it takes a long time to wait to take the Dolmush from the main city of Kas. I don't know why, but he didn't come for 40 minutes so I took a taxi. If you came by car, other nearby beaches seemed better.Visited April 2024Traveled soloWritten April 10, 2024

Sun bed and sun umbrellas were expensive. Toilets and changing room were decent.. However the view was unmatched and amazing. - EstebanMontevideo, Uruguay19 contributionsVery good choice near KasAfter Patara, it is the beach I liked the most near Kas. I recommend arriving early to get place to park and enjoy the beach before the crowd arrives. It’s a shame that beachgoers don’t take care of it and don’t pick up their trash when retreating.Visited July 2024Traveled with friendsWritten July 8, 2024

The sea is wavey.Going down the stairs to the beach. Admission cost is £35 per person. Sun loungers , two towering beds 300 lira. There is a shower toilet and cafe-style space. It’s worth going early in the morning. No parking. You’re parking by the road. 3 burgers , $1410 for a potato 3 coke. Prices were average. It was definitely a place I’ll see again.Visited September 2024Traveled with friendsWritten September 11, 2024

There’s a municipal restaurant inside the stairs ⁇ long ⁇ . The dressing cabin has a shower spot. Cola 100 tl burger 310 tl . Sun umbrella 150 tl only umbrella 50 tl . I find the prices very reasonable . The space we used our own tent and chairs is available. - willisalannGoulburn, Australia82 contributionsStunning Kaputa BeachKaputas Beach is small and beautiful with the bluest of water and a combination of sand and smooth flat pebbles . The location of the beach is stunning and its backdrop of steep, rocky cliffs is quite dramatic . We arrived at 8.30 to ensure that we had a car park . Parking was easy , the entrance fee was 35 lira each and 150 lira for a sun bed and umbrella. If you arrive early and like the shade choose the far left hand side of the beach ( looking at the water ) as this side stays shadier for longer . Being early we were among a handful of people on the beach . We enjoyed the peace and quiet of Kaputas which was special . The crowds and coaches started to arrive when we left at 9.30 . Be early if you want a park and a moment to yourself .Visited September 2024Traveled as a coupleWritten September 19, 2024

Good day and night, too. The sea is very wavey and suddenly deepening, those who don’t know how to swim well should be careful. The beach is magnificent. It's all sand and very clean. Sunbed is 100₺, umbrella is 100₺. The view from above was fascinating. You can see all shades of blue. The reason why I deducted points is that there is a municipality-owned restaurant inside and in my opinion, the prices were high compared to a municipality business and the taste was not very good. One man said, "This is the most beautiful place we've ever been cheated on." My advice to future guests is to bring your sandwiches and drinks.

The beach by its self is stunning and that alone deserves the 5 stars.
Yes the sea is like ice but you quickly get used to it once you get neck deep. The sand is lovely and fine but as you enter the sea that’s when the sand turns in to small pebbles then much larger stones that can hurt your feet. The sea breaks over these and a few times my ankles got bashed. Water shoes are a good idea though or just be careful .
Now on to the not so great aspects. Parking is a nightmare. We arrived at 11.45am after a 3.5hr drive to get here from antalya. We found no where to park near the entrance and ended up in a tiny spot by the side of the road further down, parking half in a ditch so cars could still pass.
The cost of sun bed hire as of June 2022 was 50 lira per bed and 50 for the umberalla. 150 (roughly £7.50) in total for two people. The beds are hard plastic - no padding or cover. So they were very very uncomfortable, bare this in mind and being extra towels or something if you don’t fancy hard plastic digging in.
There is a cafe and I recommend the toasted cheese sandwich plus you can’t go wrong with fries. There also an ice cream stand. 40lira (£2) for a small cone.
The burger meat is cheap & vile but each to their own.
It’s pricey for Turkey but they have a captive audience and can charge whatever they want.
Cans of Fanta/coke 25lira. (£1.25) Cheeseburger with chips something like 85lira. (£4.25)
There are 4 changing cubicles (small wooden sheds) which I’m sure people think are toilets too. They’re not. There are separate toilets but my changing smelled liked urine and it’s dark once you close the door. No light at all.
Attached to the back of the changing cubicle wall on the outside is open air showers which are handy getting the sand off and there are sinks with soap dispensers too.
If you intend on staying all day and making most of the sun stick to the left hand side of the beach as the right hand side will get the shadow first as the sun goes down.
It gets really crowded so summer months are probably not the best time to go but we still managed to secure two loungers, however you are packed in like sardines. We also had people sat on the sand right in front of our beds - literally almost touching my feet at the end of our loungers which I couldn’t understand as there was plenty of room on the sand else where, even a few feet away. They had screaming kids (of course) so no relaxation to be had for us.
The beach was worth the long drive, just wish it wasn’t so crowded.

The children wanted waves… they got them!!!
The view from the top is spectacular.
The beach has a pebble side and a sand side. The water is turquoise and the temperature excellent.
There are showers, sinks, toilets and changing rooms.
It is possible to rent deckchair and parasol for 100TL each.
You will also find something to eat there, a fast food restaurant with a large terrace.
A real favorite for this beach!!!

Kaputaş Beach is highly recommended and famous, but it turned out to be a major disappointment. Finding a parking spot is a nightmare, and once you do, be prepared to walk at least 10 minutes to reach the beach. This can be especially challenging in the hot weather. Upon arriving, the overcrowded and narrow space, along with poor services, make it nearly impossible to relax. Moreover, it’s disappointing that a municipal facility that supposedly earns millions of TL annually is so poorly managed. The steep stairs down to the beach are exhausting, the sunbed rental prices are outrageous, and shaded areas are insufficient. In my opinion, taking a couple of photos from the road above is sufficient; there’s no need to go down. I’m genuinely surprised at how bad this facility is. If you’re looking for a peaceful and relaxing beach experience, this is definitely not the place.

Kaputas Beach is an absolutely fantastic beach located approximately 25 km from Kas city.
You park up on the mountain road, and then a sturdy staircase leads down to the beach with its fine, coarse sand. On your way down, you'll pass a cafe with snacks and soft drinks, as well as restroom and changing facilities.
At the beach itself, you can rent sunbeds and umbrellas, all at reasonable prices.

It is 15-20 minutes away from Kaş. I recommend going as early as possible. It gets crowded very quickly, but somehow you can find a place to both drive and sunbathe on that loop. No need to stress. There is no entrance fee, if you want to buy an umbrella or sunbed, you pay 100₺ per piece. Food and beverages, showers and WC are available on the beach. No cats or dogs are allowed. I don't remember a place where I have been able to swim so comfortably among so many crowds. Must try ✌🏻

An incredible number of people. We got here by 9 a.m. It was already crowded. They charge money at the entrance, we gave 85 lire for 2 adults and 2 children.
An umbrella and two sun loungers cost us another 450 lire. And the umbrella is not adjustable to slopes. Very uncomfortable.
Parking is a mess.
The only thing I liked was the cold shower on the way out. Because the water is very cold, many people don't wash. On the contrary, I liked it.
Municipal authorities need to:
- regulate numbers on the beach. Launched, for example, 500 people. And until someone comes out, don't launch.
- solve the parking problem (this is if you don't regulate the number and have a billion people as now).
Compared to the beaches of Demre, Chirali, Fethiye , Patara, Kaputash - human trash.

Could have been a beautiful beach, but it is full with rubbish and cigarette butts people leave everywhere. The staff does not take care of the cleanliness either. It’s a shame! The entry costs 200TL per person, umbrella 150TL, sun bed 150TL. It opens at 7:00, to come early is a must as it gets overcrowded real quick.

The view is perfect.Must it be viewed? Yes, but unfortunately, the municipality of Kos is charging for £35 per person and also has sun loungers and umbrellas. What services does the citizen have? 1 bathroom messy 2- Clothes-up cabin and dip bottom shower location. 3- There are no elevators for seniors and no patterns of cleanliness in the trash spots.I am calling my tourist side here. They’re cutting back on the public’s beach, and what services do they have in return?

On the first day we arrived at the beach during the day and couldn’t park.
The next day we arrived at 10.00 - everything was quite empty and comfortable. I recommend coming at this time!
On the beach there are paid sun loungers (100 liras per piece), paid umbrella (100 liras per piece). There are no towels.
A very beautiful place! Very small pebbles, beautiful water.

So I booked our hotel in Antalya and I searched for this beach and saw that it takes 3 and 1/2 hrs to see this beauty! What do you recommend the quickest way to get there? Is it worth the trip? Thank you!
Written October 6, 2019
Hi! The quickest way is to rent a car. The trip itself is a great fun, you will see a lot of great places on the way. You can make a stop and check all of them. Instead of this overcrowded beach I definitely recommend to stop at one of the small (yet beautiful) beaches on the coastline between Finike and Demre - no crowds there and perfect scenery. Kas in a nice place to visit too.
