An amazing beach between Kaş and the town of Kalkan. One of the wonders of Mediterranean sea. Famous with its colour and clearity, this beach is a 'must see'

Visited Kaputas beach during low season, we had the entire beach to ourselves. The coastal road leading to Kaputas is scenic, the roads are well maintained.

Except stairs there is no reason that not to visit the Kaputaş beach for swimming. The water is brilliant, sand is so soft to get a sunbath with just your towel. Also must be a sea cave close the beach but i never been there...More

Lovely beach. Quite small, but very popular. I can imagine it can get quite busy, both at the beach and finding parking at peak season. Good facilities once down a lot of steps to the beach level.

It’s a great place to spend an afternoon here if you are in Kas, it’s easy to get here if you rent a scooter!

Our favourite beach between Antalya and Izmir. Large pebbles, not sand. Crystal clear water teeming with fish when we were there. Visited three days in a row at different times. Gets very busy. Parking is very limited on a winding highway. Approximately 150 steps to...More

A lovely beach in a beautiful spot but be prepared for the fact that it is very busy. Cars line the road where the steps down to it are and the parking can be chaotic on busy days.

A little piece of Paradise on the Turkish coastline, don’t go anywhere else! Cost was less than a £1 on bus from Kas! Regular service - times at bus station!

it isn't clear. May be rainy may be sunny. If it will be sunny you can swim and sunny bath. Depend on your chance.

It is a beautifully sandy beach where the loungers are. There's tiny little pebbles on the shore as you go in.

Best beaches naar Antalya (2 Replies)
Will stay at Lara beach and will rent a car for one day or two. Which is the best beach reachable by car ? The Kaputas beach looks really nice but I don't want to spend the whole day on the road to reach the beach.

Drive along the coast towards and beyond Kemer. There's Cirali, Phaselis, Olympos to name a few. There's a beautiful canyon at Goynuk with amazing pools fed from the mountains to swim in. A really beautiful peaceful place.

Where to stay on the med coast? (4 Replies)
I am coming with my partner to Turkey for 2 weeks end of May. I am alloting 3 days/4 nights along te med coast and wonder where the best town to stay is? We will be coming down from pamukkale, staying along the Mediterranean for 4 nights, and then returning to istanbul via dalaman airport. At first, am thinking fethiye since it is closer to dalaman. But with more research, Kalkan seems more interesting. We will like to visit Oludeniz, Patara beach, and Kaputas beach. We are a couple in mid...More

just a thought if you want to fly out of the antalya airport you could visit Patara, Kas and or Kalkan for a couple of nights then make your way to Cirali a bit further up the coast towards Antalya..there are plenty of flights available from Antalya to Istanbul. Cirali was mentioned recently in the Guardian Travel section..listing it as #5 of the top 10 crowd-free beaches, from hidden bays to pristine secluded coves..
