We had a terrific time at Subaqua Diving center! I did my OW license and my boyfriend his Advanded OW. The education was very thorough and afterwards I felt really safe to start my diving career. Oray is very good and relaxed chief, Hakan was a great and very friendly teacher and the whole crew created a great atmosphere on the boat. Thanks for everything and see you soon!

Had an awesome time diving with these guys. Did 8 dives over 3 days. All the equipment is of a high standard and plenty of instructors available (and enough that speak English too). Best dives were the canyon, the tank and of course the c47. Thanks to all of you guys especially Hakan!!!

IT WAS UNFORGETTABLE.
Oray and the SubAqua crew are very supportive and professionnal.
We had so much fun. The dives were great, we saw sea turtles and dived next to an airplane. Very cool !!
Oray even took picture of us in the water and sent them to us for free.
They're really generous and friendly.
I would totally recommend this place !
Enjoy

The guys on the boat were nice and professional and coordinating with the shop was easy enough. The operation was smooth and it was an easy half day of diving.

Our Divemaster was way too hands on in the water. He literally pinched my wifes nose for her while she was trying to equalize, I'm a divemaster and I've never seen anything like that.

However the basis for my low review is the rental gear. I immediately blew an o-ring in the first 2 minutes on the boat, which happens. But then we had to go through FOUR regulators to find one that worked. 2 of the pressure gauges didn't work and 2 leaked badly. The hoses on the regs were absolutely shot and should have been changed 200 dives ago. I almost bailed after seeing the condition of the pressure hoses. The BCDs also should've retired. Everything else (mask, fins, suits) was VERY well used but still servicable. Overall I've never felt more uncertain of dive gear in my diving career.

I'm sure most of the boats in Kas are all very similar. But it doesn't excuse the conditions. They need to put some money into their gear and their divemaster needs to not touch people underwater unless it's an emergancy.

Dived with these guys in September for a few days and found them to be a very professional outfit.
I have around 250 dives, so not a huge number, but have dived with a number of different dive companies around the world (UK, Egypt, US, Oman, Thailand, Grenada, Philippines, Mexico etc) and can definitely say these rank in the top level from my experience.
Didn't use their kit, but it looked very new and well maintained.
Very attentive to guests and very attentive to safety.
Definitely will use again next time I visit

This fledgling dive Centre was created in April 2011 by two highly experienced, motivated English speaking Instructors wanting to bring you the best they have to offer. I have dived with the Owner/Managers for the last 5 years and have taken friends to complete PADI courses with them in their safe & stress-free environment. The brand new equipment has been carefully selected to cater for divers with a wide range of experience. The purpose built boat is meticulously maintained with attention to detail, comfort and Safety. There are a wide range of dive sites to cater for all levels of Experience. See "Sport Diver Magazine" Feb 2012 for more details.
May 12. My friends and I have recently returned from another fantastic weeks diving with Subaqua, they all had a superb time completing their PADI OW & Advance OW courses. A great time in turquoise Waters. This Dive centre offers courses from PADI and CMAS at all levels. Im looking forward to returning to Subaqua in July 2012. :0)

We dived for 4 days with Subaqua in September. we chose Subaqua by going down to the marina to have a look at the dive boats. They looked the most appealing. The boat was tidy and well organised and the equipment all very new.
The boat was never packed with divers and was therefore very comfortable and relaxing getting to and from dive sites.
They catered well for all standards. There were first time divers on the boat who were very well looked after on a one to one basis. Overhearing the briefing, the instructors seemed very good at explaining clearly what first time divers needed to know.
However, the dive masters were careful to ensure that everyone got good diving for their level. On one trip they took separate dives for OW divers and for advanced divers so that everyone got best diving experience available.
As well as doing morning and afternoon dives returning to port at lunch time, we also went along for an all day trip which was extremely enjoyable with a basic but hearty lunch served on board with hot pasta and salad.
We were wholly impressed by this organisation. The staff were relaxed but very attentive - we weren't rushed to get ready and the atmosphere was easy going and relaxed though the instructors were very safety conscious - keeping a close eye on everyone under water ( small groups of divers.).
The boat was easy to get back into with a good chunky ladder ( not always the case and we saw divers struggling on a flimsy ladder on another company's dive boat.)
There isn't a great deal of marine life to see - though we did come across turtles and schools of fish. Even so, the dives were interesting and enjoyable with many wrecks (including an aeroplane) interesting underwater canyons and rock formations and some exciting strong currents in places ( which they were careful to brief us on.)
All in all, I would highly recommend this dive organisation for all diver levels - they cater well for complete beginners and experienced divers. They are a nice bunch of people and very professional.
By way of background, we have around 250 dives - almost all from holidays and have therefore experienced a range of dive centres and have actually walked away from 2 organisations in the past when we were uncomfortable with safety and equipment standards. Subaqua are among the best organisations we have dived with.
We will definitely be going back to Subaqua next year -which is, I suppose ultimately the best recommendation we can give!!

We made two discovery dives with Subaqua this year. Very professional team with attention to detail and safety. They are very friendly and welcome new divers. They make you fell comfortable from beginning to end. We are already planning for our next trip to get the training with them. Amazing experience, highly recommended !

I did a lot of research before choosing this company for my Scuba Diving lessons after all, I didn’t know what to expect and I was worried I'd panic.

However as soon as I met with the Team at Sub Aqua I felt more at ease. Oray Ercan (Director/Instructor) was excellent and clearly explained what I should expect from my first dive, so automatically this made me feel safe and eased me into my first experience of Scuba diving, which I loved.

I signed up to the Open Water course and I was instructed by Tayfun who was patient, clear and a lot fun to dive with – the perfect instructor!!. He took me through the steps of what I could expect on a daily basis and answered any questions that I had.

I have to say that I loved the Open Water Course so much that I decided to stay on with Sub Aqua to complete the next stage the Advance Open Water course, which as before didn’t disappoint me one bit. It was so much fun and a great achievement.

These divers are professional, friendly, courteous and reliable. I did my Open Water and Advance Open Water course with them because of this. They have knowledgeable instructors who will make both your in class and ocean experience safe and adventurous!

There is a reason for their PADI 5 star rating, they are simply Sub Aqua–mazing!!

I'd never tried scuba, however always wanted to. As soon as I met Oray (owner and Diver Director) I felt comfortable and assured this was the place for me to do my first dive.

I did the Discovery Scuba Diver, I feel this was a much better choice to do than the "try dive". It was a little more than just trying scuba diving.

Everyone on the boat was very friendly and welcoming, also my wife came along and snorkelled and sun baked while I did my dive.

My instructor Typhon was AWESOME, he explained everything prior to getting in the water and made me feel very comfortable. Once in the water his guidance and patients was fantastic, watched me the whole time, explained "with hand actions" everything very clearly and guided me through my dive with ease.

Considering the experience I had, I'm now doing the Open Water Diver 2-3 day course.

Thanks to the team at SubAqua, especially to Oray and Typhon.
