This pazar is every Friday and is the best place to find the freshest fruits and vegetables, as well as local olives and cheeses. There is also a section for clothing, cooking wares, and various other random things. The prices can't be beat. The only thing keeping it from a 5-star rating is the lack of (certified) organic produce, but... More

Lots of wonderful fruit and vegetable stalls run by local people.Really fresh and so much nicer than the supermarkets. Home made cheeses, olives, honey at very reasonable prices. The market is very busy attended by much of the local population. Additionally there are the usual stalls of watches, leather goods, shirts and DVDs. Areas cooking food for authentic tastes of the... More

Kas Pazar Market- open Fridays around 09.00. - 18.00 hrs. Lots of good bargains to be had - items such as top quality/ great fake branded leather goods and amazing local food to taste. Remember to haggle on the price - put on your poker face and offer 50% of the askiing price!!! It's a great experience!!

There is always fresh food here. The native peasants take their own fruits and vegetables but I think, they think that tourists don't mind high price. If they don't change their policy they may loose their customers.

Visited Kas and went to the market. A great way to get more of an experience of the culture - a market for Turkish people. The market was a good size - not too overwhelming and enough to see. Wonderful fruit and veg plus lots of other things. Good place for present buying. We had a tea and sat and... More

Typical Turkish market on the way to the Marina. Take your time to visit all parts of the market and try to haggle for a bargain. Its good fun and can be profitable

I love small bazaars like this. It's like being transported back in time. They have really great produce and spices. Things like that. Not a great place for clothes shopping, of course. But fantastic just to experience. On Fridays.

At first glance you might think this market sells mainly fruit and veg. Take a look further inside to find more: * Cheap clothes - if you forgot to pack your shorts or sun-hat you'll find clothing stalls downhill on the left from the main entrance. * Cheap shoes - trainers, sandals, flip-flops - but not much in the way...
